Kim Wilde - Lovers On A Beach (Extended Version)
"Lovers On A Beach" from Kim Wilde. This is the most perfect B-Side, taken from the A Side single for "The Second Time" or "Go For It" in the U.S...
"Lovers On A Beach" is beyond STUNNING in my opinion, so I made a video for this "Extended" version. "The Second Time" which is the A Side to this track is taken from Kim Wilde's 4th album release "Teases And Dares" from 1984 ...

Wahnsinnig schön gemacht, super Bilder, Fotos ❤🎉❤
Inoubliable Merci kim
Une merveille. Bravo à ceux qui comme moi, n'oublie pas Kim Wilde. Kim on t'adore.
@kimwildelover Much appreciated, thank you so kindly. I spent a very long, long time making this video. I really wanted to capture the intensity of both this track and the imagery. It's such an deep and moody piece of music, lyrics and vocals. And the Kim pictures really also express the vibe of the beautiful moment of this track. Thanks for motivating me to make MORE Kim clips!
Lovely video for a lovely song, cam almost dream it was a single. Almost...
Melodic superiority
i wish they would remake this song for her next cd :( i can imagine how good it would sound now with a more mature vocal and more organic with some acoustic guitars, strings and new sound effects, waves at the end etc.

God no! It sounds exquisite like this, why'd ya think everyone always nicks from the 80s. It doesn't need sea sounds, it's not SUPPOSED to have strings, acoustic guitar and all that shit, it's got ALL it needs from the very beautiful synths and drumming. Guitar so not needed, that's what's plugged through all the later albums, to lesser effect. You've got utterly mixed up-it can have all of what you say IF THEY BOTHER DOING IT LIVE! That's what live shows are for, which of course they'll never do as they never scratch beyond the very repetitive same old 6-7 song surface, and a load of cover and Xmas shit. Her live shows are never what they were as there's nothing like having the songs in the 80s she had, but she never really did live shows back then, and even when she did, loads of stuff would never be revisited once the album she was promoting was out. Now she does nothing BUT live shows over records, but never does anything that's not been heard 100 times before, as she does not like 80% of her own stuff, but prefers others' crap.
cinematic video for a cinematic sound. by the lovely ms Wilde. cant get enough of her 1983-1984 era. the sound is unlike anything

Utterly. Especially her glorious 1983 album "Catch As Catch Can"-most criminally underrated and disregarded album by anyone ever-she herself hates it!
J'adore !!
should've been a hit

Like ALL the stuff barely released or never released. Pity poor 'Rain On', 'Sail On' and 'He Will Be There' only just let out the archives for the 2020 albums 2&3 release! Then there's 'You Don't Know Me' that only exists as someone else singing it as a B-side to a shit single by the same person, as Kim's one is still nowhere, just like 'That's The Mood I'm In' & 'Time To Live Your Life'. God knows what else. Then there's that complete locked away 1998 album "The Promise".
Przejmująca nuta i ten smutek w delikatnym głosie Kim, ciekawe jakby zaaranżować na nowo ale koniecznie z Kim
very nicely made video to go with a beautiful lady and great song !
Nice video, thank you!
💕
Once again, you've made a GREAT job ! thank you, it sos beautiful !
@TheMjblades Yes, I agree, I am horrified at how underrated she is as an artist, while shit like McDonna is treated as if she would be The Beatles!!! The trio of Select, Catch & Teases are my faves too. Ego, The Touch, Stay a while, House of Salome, ....there was a definite doom- foreboding-, cinematic theme for her early works. A touch of John Barry at times. I love her b-sides too. Backstreet Joe was my favourite, but it goes on and on.
fun fact, foolish tricky sunday: I sorted some old singles (vinyls from carton boxes...), and was stuck when listening to Carol Hadden's 1985 "Hollywood Babylone je t'aime" mere piece of sh*t ! Yep! I took me almost 40 minutes to find out in my aged memory what the bassline was copied on... And I searched my ole tapes, almost it was a title of Teases and Dares....nope. Then, I began to recall one word, two words from these lyrics... And yes!!! I used to listen to that B-side of the maxi45 I had almost torn out back in the day! How can I confess? I just used to LOOOOOVE that track. The synths, the drum box....booya! Shame? no way! I still keep on since that sunday to close my eyes , open my ears and dream, dream on like I used to when I was 15 or so.... There'll never be a better time than the one we used to live in the 80s.. Ok, now, you know I used to be a huge fan.... If she reminds that....too many witnesses of my collection?
un des meilleurs titre de kim
@JeuneFilleaCarnival Kim Wild eis very underated but fortunately in germany she is like ROYALTY there! Select, Catch and most recently TEases has been re released by Cherry pop. I got my copy of Teases and Dares last week with all the B Sides and Remixes as extra's. It's DIVINE!

And they did a lousy job-everything that fades have seconds ripped from them. And ALL the B-sides/bonus WEREN'T there as the 2020 re-releases make clear, but this copy of "Teases & Dares", despite a clipping of seconds from tracks 5, 7 & 10 is still the best we're going to get if we never get any others. Funny, you've named all her 3 career-best albums!
great job ! i'm a fan of your videos !
