In the last decades I saw lots of talent getting wasted because they lack the looks. Kim's beauty is rival to her talent. Or friend, you can choose lol

Didn't know that much about Kim Wilde until I saw her perform as an opening act for Michael Jackson in Wembley Stadium back in the 80's. She was fantastic and blew me away! Been a fan ever since :)

Thank God, can't think how you missed her. What a pity though, HE should have opened for her, you would have only seen her do about 8 songs, most of which would have barely scratched the service of which she was about, even up to that point.

I LOVE the part where she's looking out of the window and smiling! This is an outstanding, unique, underrated song! EDIT - I was lucky enough to hear this performed LIVE by Kim and Junior at the London Palladium during her Greatest Hits tour (September 2022), it was out of this world :D

Hab vor der Wende 1989 Deine LP's von meiner Tante aus der BRD geschenkt bekommen. Entweder zum Geburtstag oder Weihnachten. Ich saugte Deine Song's auf wie ein trockener Schwamm. Jetzt bin ich bald 56 und fühle mich wie 18. :-)

Great 80s tune. And 4 decades later kim is still soooo beautiful.

Great pop song very under rated. Kim is so under appreciated in the UK,compared to mainland Europe where she is worshipped.

I was born in the late 80's but my mum played Kim Wilde's Greatest Hits album all the way through my childhood and adolescence. I know all these songs off by heart and I love them as much as my Mum does!

Kim Wilde has a great youthful voice & is such a beauty as well 😀 she looks 'perfectly moody' in this video 🥰 🥰 When you her scream "Another step" it feels like an injection of energy and youth 👊 Also the video clip of this song makes me think of "I Knew You Were Waiting for Me" by Aretha Franklin & George Michael, which was released the same year.

Yeah only it's far far superior, and no shrieking, overdone, show-off Franklin. It's far shorter of course and much smarter. And should have been WAY bigger than that song. No.1's (so to speak) are almost always undeserved, just like chart placings for all the decent acts.

This song & video is about relationship between a white woman and a black man. IN 1986! I think many people find that kind of things controversial back then. Even Madonna didn't do this kind of video. They were only in the back, some black woman and men - not making a duet. Very ahead of its time. I love Kim's gloves! :)

Wow! They actually played more than one Kim song 'over and over' in that dreadful country. Wow, so lovely to know. What about the rest though, especially her 1982, 1983 and 1984 period. Kim's US labels fucked up her stuff considerably, but they would.

Pop Queen, dear. The princesses are all the ones that are great but not as great as her and sit behind her. The rest are middling to garbage.

Can't help but think of the opening intro of the mighty 'Chaos At The Airport' (track 6 on 2nd album "Select") when I hear and see the plane come in, but then the happy mood takes it off in another direction! LOL.

Andy where you from-As was a really big hit in UK, France, Belgium, Germany, Holland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Switzerland, Also Junior had other hit singles like To Late in 82 + Irish Blue in 2004........

I was listening to the UK charts in May 1987 but somehow missed this song altogether at the time.

0:08 the magnificent BA Landor 747-100 rocking them four JT9D engines (they were a literal slice of cake in the 70s and the 80s or even the 90s before the 747-400 came in) avgeek approved.
