I like how healthy their relationship is it's steady they respect each other boundaries are not invading each other spaces , dunsik lets her do everything on her own is only helping when required I love how she stopped asking questions when he said not to cross the line and he has never done anything questionable p.s love the point when he apologized for judging her and did it in a sincere manner no if and buts respect for him went to infinity at that point , nevertheless is drama which is a lie young girls should not follow it

When he places his hands on her cheeks and suddenly there's no music....I started panicking like 'ohh shit what happened to the sound?' 🤣🤣 korean dramas are on another level altogether with their production.....as if their chemistry isn't enough ...the lack of music precisely then just amplified the whole experience.....you could literally hear your own heartbeat 💓

dusik & hyejin becoming my favorite couple 'cause their scenes arent over the top sweet. rather, theirs are intimate and homey that are enough to make my heart flutter. no cringy lines, just life conversations.

This scene is my favorite. The metaphorical scene (the ice melting in the glass) says it all! Also Hong Du-sik's eyes, even if there's no line, his eyes were enough. I am literally shouting as my heart flutters in this episode when I watched this.

Kdramas always find a reason for the two main leads to touch each other in the most heart-fluttering way possible. Not that I'm complaining tho 😁😁😁

Awesome acting from Kim Seon Ho. You can tell how he feels just by looking into his eyes. Very natural and effortless acting

There was no sound, I held my breath. So intense just two fantastic actors. Kim Seonho is so heart stopping, Minah so beautifully vulnerable

from making us teary-eyed then easily flutter our hearts with a sweet touch, what a roller coaster of feelings. I'm here for it.

Shin Min Ah's delivery was so good, it was so calmly painful that you'd feel her sincerity, and Kim Seon Ho's empathy that could be felt by the way he was staring at her. These two actors are insane, TALENT and CHEMISTRY? Completely off the roofs!!! This kdrama is definitely a warm hug after a tiring work week and definitely such a breathe of fresh air, a stack in the hay with all the recent intense trending plot. We definitely need this in this dark times of the pandemic. Thank you, tVN and Netflix.

A healing drama that flutters our heart. 💗 i hope it will be a trend setter in the future. We don't need all hot kiss/bed scene or cringe romances all the time like nevertheless or those western movies. Hometown cha cha cha didn't sell those and still on top of the charts 💗. The main leads are amazing actor/actress who can act well and appropriate on and off screen.

Hyejin said they are polar opposite but dushik say they are in the same environment. They may be different but they share the same situation. He could empathise her lost as he has lost more family members, he was so into her story that as much as he wants to give her a hug, he subtly touched her to give her encouragement and warm. Even when attacking the pervert, as much as he wants to touch her to check if she is ok, he was restraining a little. Once he got emotionally involved, his actions are very obvious that he cares alot about her.

she even admitted to being attracted to him (opposites attract she said) and that she is fascinated by him.. It is a confession in itself. And he also admitted to the sexual predator that their was something going on between them. They are both aware of their feelings and building the relationship one step at a time. All this is so mature. I love everything about this.

Love Seonho's acting here. He got teary eyes when he's listening to her story. That's such a nice little detail.🥰😊

Moments like this is why I watch K-drama and I haven't come across one lately, until this show came along. Such a beautifully scripted, directed and acted scene. I'm pretty confident at this point that we may even be treated to more scenes just as beautiful or even ones that surpass this one.

I hate Hometown Chachacha for making me realized that Im missing a Hong Dusik in my life😭 Seriously though, this is the drama you just keep replaying over and over again. Love it 💯

The silence of the scene is screaming perfection, as we all watched with bated breath. Simply brilliant!

I held my breath at 2:26 because of how intense the scene was oh my gosh. Their overflowing chemistry makes this scene so romantic despite the fact that they haven't even hugged, held hands, or kissed yet!

Everything about this scene makes the heart swoon! As someone who lost her mother at a young age and married a compassionate person like Du-Sik’s character, I felt every emotion in the dialogue and facial expressions 😭😭

Well you should then try Strongest Deliverman... He is antagonist at the beginning but became good later... But still you can enjoy his "BAD BOY" role in that drama... So check it out... The drama is also good although Seon Ho is not the main lead

this was by far the most compelling moment of the show and solidified homcha as one of my all time favs...its a little presumptuous to say this only 4 episodes in but man everything is perfect in this show and the actors constantly take my breath away. This movie truly touches my heart. I have always known that kdramas are romantic and all. But this movie hits different. I love all the casts, the unspoilt beauty of this village, the vibes, the characters, and the delivery. Even the most unnoticeable scene has its meaning. It's not only about love, it also involves a lot of life stories that we can relate to. I love how the relationship evolves gradually through some misunderstandings, because they can get to know each other, and the way they talk with each other with respect and care for each other . Everything in this kdrama is so genuine and beautiful, it's like a dose of medicine for my mental health. I don't know how many times i have watched this scene, but i still can't get enough of it. And special thanks to the Director of this film, for making such a masterpiece, and to all the casts for acting so naturally and portraying the characters flawlessly. Thanks to you guys now i don't know how i will move on after this film ends.

For me the scene where the ice melted means that they already finished breaking the ice session between them, so more to come and we can expect the building of their relationship in the coming episodes. I love that we can see how their relationship dynamics changed throughout these 4 episodes. I just love this drama so much 🥰

The dramas of the last 4 to 5 years have really nailed the female gaze with subtle but impactful forms of intimacy. Just remembering how aggressive wrist grabbing and slamming female leads against walls used to pass for "heart fluttering" and now we see scenes like this to illustrate romance...the difference is night and day (and I'm so here for it!)

Studio Dragon is easily one of the best production studios anywhere in the world. Mainly because they have the best writers. But they also cast really well and hire great directors and production crews. They just make high quality products. Hometown Cha Cha Cha shows you why. It just works on all levels. It's subtle and sweet yet powerful when it needs to be. It's funny and moving. It's quirky and charming. In the US products like this are extremely rare. Because we don't have the writers nor the acting talent to pull it off, let alone the directors or production crews. South Koreans are spoiled by the amount of well done scripted shows. In 2020 they had something like 87 scripted dramas put out. The US can barely produce a tenth of that. And almost all of them were single shots not repeats, reruns or long running shows. Almost all brand new material handwritten. I wish the US took its entertainment product as serious as they do. I wish we had a Studio Dragon.

0:39 was one the defining moments that I knew this drama is wholesome...(so vulnerable and that keen sense of grief/loss/regret hits you like a ton of bricks) if hospital playlist shows the more explicit grief and loss from the passing of a family member (in a hospital setting)... Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha has managed to play across grief and loss in such a poignant manner for me. Almost all the characters have experienced and showed grief and loss (it doesn't linger for long with the comedic/heart-fluttering scenes) but it sticks out a lot to me (and for others who have or are still coping with grief and loss). I need to applaud the way the drama was written, directed and acted as it made me realise I'm not the only one dealing with grief and loss. I might sound crazy but I enjoy these scenes as everyone is vulnerable to our emotions. As much as I'm hoping for the story to move along, I hope these moments of grief and loss will continuously be shown for all upcoming episodes, it would be nice if there were solutions for them but; realistically speaking, there are no clear cut answers to grief and loss.
