She does such a nice job of expressing herself in a calm and concise way despite being completely disrespected and put down by this clearly jealous woman. Notice how she doesn't shrink down and answer the interviewer's demeaning questions and rather takes the high ground. Very impressed !!!

Regardless of what your opinion is about Kim you can't just talk to someone like that. Like that interviewer is interviewing her in front of so many people and she made fun of Kim so many times. If anything it shows that she's shit at her job. Like you need to keep your opinion and your job separate. That was so rude. In fact Kim was the professional one.

This interview made me like her. She answered the questions very well as in not forgetting the question and rambling or beating around the bush, she's well-spoken, and she was able to stay calm during the whole interview while that lady was being rude. Kim, you have a new fan.

The only thing she has marketed is her body. That said, I find this talk to be absolutely irrelevant for a tech startup that wants to build a social media presence. ANYONE can gain a huge following by shocking people with sex. How about showing me someone who has gained a massive following while keeping their clothes on? The thing about the interviewer is that if she was interviewing someone like Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg, she wouldn't have treated them the same way she treated Kim. That's very unprofessional on the part of the interviewer.

People think it's so easy to get famous. Let me see you get a reality tv show and create a fan base as wide as Kim's and on top of that creating yourself and becoming an entrepreneur in the publics eye. Say what you want about her but you have to admit Kim Kardashian does have success.

This interviewer is such an unclassy lady. She was asking some things that Kim was clearly unconfortable to answer. I know that she signed a contract and everything but the way she was asking just came of a little bit rude.

As one of the original users of social media she optimises the uses of this social forum allowing everyone to share their passions and created many other methods of extending the use of social technology. As an astute fashion and beauty innovator as well as an astute business women she amazes many by her success mainly derived from the "virtual" world wide web. A beautiful women with a powerful insightful mind which she uses to turn her passions and talents into different expressive mediums(her businesses). Finally, I believe she has inspired many fashion and beauty lovers to share their expressive work together to establish a world wide community allowing free and happy expression of individuality. Shes so composed. i love how she does’nt react defensive or passive aggresive while a lot of the questions would totally trigger anybody.

She's smart and has the right people in her circle/team. I think she's really intelligent in celebrity PR and marketing. It's very hard to stay relevant for as long as she has, I respect that. She's a hustler and can make bank... BUT, as far her morals go and what she stands for as a reality TV icon? She's shallow, all about pushing her brand/fame. She doesn't use her power to empower people or stand for anything, all business.

From a psychosocial perspective just looking at kims body language... This interviewer is really pushing her buttons.. U can tell by the way kims rocking back and forth on the chair.. Kind of demonstrating her defiance.. She's thinking I'm gonna continue being playful (rocking in the chair) despite you attacking me.

Say what you want about kim but she is professional, she handled the reposes to the woman's harsh questions with good wit (although she could have articulated herself better, I will give kim down votes for that although I love her) and she really carried herself with poised, shout out to her choice of clothing too. This woman was trying to stir the pot and make kim step outside herself. Kim kept a level head throughout the interview so I'm glad she did well. Other celebrities would have gotten offended and not handled themselves so well.

People think Kim is not smart because her business is built on her image and nothing else but she is a master of communication. She sells her image by her show and magazines (like a model do, sorry but models got nothing on her), and turned it into a brand to sell everything related to her world. She fascinates people.

I believe the person who she should be interviewing is the mom, Kris, the person who sees the opportunities of this multi-million dollar empire via her family's lives. Kris is the key in creating the Kardashian's image and continues to strategize how to best funnel her girls into fame and money.

I don't see why people hate her so much and keep bringing back that sex tape up all the time. Like it or not, she's promoting businesses to grow/viral, helping fashion houses who aren't doing well get that exposure, she's creating jobs from her make-up line/clothes/game/etc and for someone that doesn't go to Harvard/Oxford, she's doing very well surviving in such a competitive market and keeping a status of being what many people strive to be, which is being 'famous'. So does she have talent? If anything, she's a damn talented entrepreneur, who saw opportunity and fights even with the tsunami of negativity she gets.

Aw poor kim no matter how hard she tries to be know as successful for something people will always bash her. I wish peopls could be nice to everyone.

The interviewer is asking really dumb and pointless questions. "You got __ million responses on one picture and 600 some thousand on another, does that bother you?" Wtf. On top of the she is extremely rude. I am glad I watched this because I never really thought much of Kim K. but she is very articulate, poised, and handles insults and slights extremely well. Kudos, because that's very hard to do.

technically if you were to take the sex tape away she would still have become famous through the reality show, so if people want to say that's how she became famous... that'd be incorrect

My issue with Kata Swisher is that you could tell she was trying to catch her out, which - yes, is what a 'good interviewer' does - but she was also heavily pushing her own ego. I honestly feel like she falls into the same pool of individuals who don't look at Kim from a serious/business perspective. Which is where she falls from 'good interviewer' status. When you interview, you yourself should be aiming to discover new things about the person. Rather than allowing your own preceding judgments to invade the atmosphere of the conversation. You're amazing Kim, and you spoke very eloquently and displayed knowledge, charm and charisma throughout. Calm and collected is the way to be, and she exuded JUST that. #SlayQueen #KKKWTeam

Gotta give it to her! Wadever say, she did manage to earn billions of dollars, a world wide fanbase and a stardom which one can only dream about. And no am not a die hard fan of Kim. Even when she describes her typical day of work while filming the reality show, I do not understand how a reality show is hard work. She wakes up, feeds her daughter, goes to the gym : not work just everyday mother life. Then films in the comfort of her own home or patying, socializing with friends. i fully understand where you're coming from, but i don't really see filming a "reality" tv show as comfortable for her. When you put it into perspective, she's obviously not going to be her whole self with a camera crew following her and her family around constantly. She's also constantly scrutinised for her personal choices that "normal" people would really take for granted. Not saying that she's not blessed with this lifestyle, but i definitely don't think it's as glamourous as it looks, and it would take a ton of hard work to even stay sane!

I'm sure the person who spent sleepless nights designing it has their name written in small letters in the credits... her clothing line has her name stamped on it and yet other people design it... the books she puts out are written by someone else too... for you *claremaree* to say that it takes hard work for her to stay sane when she chose this life style is not really a valid point but then again you have every right to your own opinion... the truth is Kim is not the only one exploiting other people's talents... celebrities do it all the time... but what they have above her is having worked hard to get to those positions... most of them atleast they're musicians and actors and authors and directors... Thanks for your responses, it is interesting to see the different point of views, and everyone is entitled to have their own which I respect. Just for the sake of discussion, I understand claremaree's view, but for me those "struggles" still don't go on a resumé (or CV depending what country you're from). Filming a reality show sure isn't comfortable but I'm sure hard working technicians or jobs that imply physical endurance would laugh at those "struggles". In all honestly i think she is great and has done well for herself.

I personally don't understand why people are hating on her so much. She might have gained popularity because of her sex tape, and regardless if she "planned" on letting that out or not (I don't think she wanted to anyway!), don't you think it's just not fair to judge her? Common people! Whatever's in the past should not affect what you think of someone. People change. And the thing to ask yourself is, DO YOU PERSONALLY KNOW HER?? You know how crazy things are fabricated once they go in print. It's crazy, it's ridiculous to believe in stuff you read from these horrible celebrity gossips. I'm not a fan of the Kardashians nor am I a hater. Bottomline is, DON'T JUDGE. Treat people with kindness not just because you should, but because it's the right thing to do. What if people who barely know you say you are a joke, a whore, a slut, a non-sense, and other names, what would YOU feel? You would ask the same thing, WHAT DID I DO? DO THEY KNOW ME TO CALL ME NAMES?? Oh Gosh. The world's a mess. :(

"I think that.." she always sounds so dumb BUT she's not! She takes a long time to answer her questions because she is thinking of what to say and what not to say. She cant go onto any show and talk about certain issues or companies because she has so many contracts that she doesn't want to violate also she doesnt want to ruin future jobs. Also she keeps some stuff private of her personal life, yea she shows most of her life on the media but there are still things she reserves for herself.

Interesting how people keep saying that she has a team working for her. What most people don't understand is that if you just make a sex tape no marketing team will try making you rich! If you look at her career, you will see that everything she has done has been very well planned. She managed to get close to Paris when it was so hard to be in that circle. Then she made the sex tape to get attention but after the sex tape you only have the 15 minutes to do something. And that is when she started working hard. Building strong connections, using the social media to connect with her fans, finding right people to help her and many other things. She is not a genius and she doesn't have a degree in business and a lot of people including me don't like the way she gets nude in front of camera but she is undoubtedly intelligent and she knows what she is doing. I am surprised how well she handled this interview, this woman is not dumb!!

What people don't get is that, okay Kim got famous because of KUWTK but before her reality show, she was already famous by having Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan as her clients. That made her famous thus she was eager to go out and get famous from doing photoshoots and such. Yes KUWTK got her famous but it also brought in so much more opportunities for her and because of that show, she is the woman she is now. To sum it up, Kim is an ambitious person and to prove it she has went out and tried out so many industries. For example, her music video, dancing with the stars, modelling, acting and much more! So do not ever judge a book by it's cover. She tries her best to prove everyone wrong and she is more than just a reality TV show.

In life you can be someone who takes ACTION or someone who is INACTIVE, this is the fundamental difference. She has taken ACTION all her life. The results are evident.

I think she has a point, TBH I always thought they were kind of dumb, but people underestimate them, they are a billionaire family, I wonder for all those people who think they are untalented and stupid, who is the stupid and untalented now? Really enjoyed this interview. I think it gave a different side to her as a person. You can see that the is socially confident and is very open, even by not watching the interview. But there is also a private and sensitive side. Not just a brick wall. Her community really means something to her. I think we should all learn a lesson by seeing this interview. To not judge someone because of their success. There is no hiding why she became famous, but its everything that's happened after that which is important. She did not sweep up an estimated Net Worth of $85 million dollars just over a sex tape. Sure it helped, but in reality her and her family and the people around her are marketing geniuses! You all underestimate her. She is a very intelligent person, surrounded by a very intelligent family. Well done Kim, great interview.

Her success says very little about her or her "talent" but says more about the Sheep who are obsessed with her and her lifestyle, we are a culture obsessed with "things" and being pretty.

+Jessica Long She is not a super smart woman, but smart enough to earn millions and she is a jealous type, but looking good and she is amazing when dealing with people as long as it benefits her. It’s 2023 and it’s crazy to me that there are almost a million views but only 4000 likes.

Reality TV is a phenomenon that is weird and has the ripple affect. It touches us, and it's so unusual for us to see people gain wealth from being famous without a particular skill or talent. Perhaps if we were to categorized 'Beauty' as a talent, makeup application is like painting and an artistic skill, we could say her, Ms K's beauty is her talent, ie, her gift, in which she can gain monetary benefits from as a Supermodel ? The unusualness is the openness and accessibility Ms. k gives us which is the OPPOSITE of what famous people request,"I want my privacy!" others rant and rave. Ms. K will continue to set the precedence of being completely transparent willingly. I believe her personality enables her full disclosure like thousands of others who tweet, post and comment . This is the generation of social disclosure and the connection that is seen and felt going around the world, moment by moment in a fascinating expression of human reality.
