I had a colleague who was AWFUL to me when it was only the two of us around. She made the workplace hell. In front of the bosses and customers she was so sweet and nice. Once I tried to say something about it and nobody believed me, because of her nice girl persona. I'm with KC on this one, all the way.

Firstly, Kim is An intelligent, articulate, and very classy. Kim can see right through SJP. Kim isn't trying to be vindictive or cold. I'm glad she called out SJP and her fakeness. I never liked SJP and always found her fake. Trying to seem like the good and nice girl. She doesn't fool me, she seems to think she's hot shit so Kim eloquently tweeted that they were not friends and SJPs plastic condolescences. SJP just wanted attention and look good in the public eye. Team Cattrall all the way! I've had my share of "fake friends" so I know where Kim is coming from.

Lance Lewis Actually on DHW, Teri Hatcher didn't get along with ANY of her castmates, particularly Marcia Cross. I was a fan the first three seasons, esp nothing could top that first season. After word got out about all the infighting on the show, I stopped watching. There's a infamous Vanity Fair article from 2004 from the writer who witnessed first hand how her castmates snubbed Teri when the cameras weren't rolling.

Kim Cattrall was what made "Sex and the City". Without her, the movie will fail. Cattrall made one comment on Piers Morgan saying that they were never really friends and that Parker 'could have been nicer'. That's it. Parker went on to act like she had no clue about what Cattrall was talking about when she was interviewed after that, and added that that was not how she remembered things, and 'thought that they were friends'. Really? If she thought they were indeed friends, then she should have picked up the phone and called her when her brother died. Not post something on social media for the world to see. That's what I would do if I was friends with someone. My condolences to Kim Cattrall.

I had this coworker who was "friends" with me and then out of nowhere he made my life pure hell. He changed figures in shared documents multiple times to make me look like an idiot in front of my boss I even had proof of what he was doing. Fortunately I had the opportunity to change to another department within the same company and never spoke to him again but many people thought and still think he's a good, kind and lovely guy. I am Glad when She said "in order to restore Your Nice Girl persona" I know a woman like that; Such hypocrites.

Kim must really hate Sarah cause the way she reacted is only how you would to someone who was practically your enemy! And remember she has lost her brother so her emotions and reactions are heightened. My mother had a nasty fued with one of her sisters, and when my mother got ill with cancer and a week before she died my aunty sent my mother a hue bouquet of flowers - and my mother told me to throw them in the bin!!! Then after she died the same aunty sent us flowers again - and all we wanted to do was say FUCK OFF! When you hate someone so much YOU DO NOT want them involving themselves with your tragedy because it seems fake. That is probably what's going on with Kim now.

In death of a loved one, sometimes you just lose the fuck out.. There's no 'oh what about being the bigger person, being polite, being a grown up, being colected.. like THE FUUUUUUCK BITCH, someone you cared just died, NOTHING ELSE matters in the world at that point, much less being seen as 'polite' for people you don't give a single shit.. She was most likely mourning and the human being she hates (and that she thinks is fake af) comes and tell the world how sorry she is and you know she isn't and you just lost your brother and 'bitch, did this piece of crap just used my brother who just died to appear nice are you fucking kidding meeeeeesirijojjyg' type of thing... Maybe SJP is a darling, and Kim has her all figured out wrong, but she thinks what she thinks and she didn't felt SJP deserved respect (nor was actually being truly respectful - although I doubt she wasn't tbh.. but I don't know shit about the two so whatever..). Thing is.. people are human beings with feelings and sometimes you feel you need to lash out and fuck if people think you need to keep your issues private. I don't blame Kim Cattral. I've experienced this so many times that its ridiculous. And I understand where she's coming from. Women can be vicious and nasty to eachother behind closed doors. I can't say for sure what happened between these two women, but my guess is that Kim must have been really disappointed and angry at Sarah Jessica Parker behind the scenes. And that it pisses her off that Sarah Jessica Parker still continues to pretend everything is cool between them in public, and is reaching out at the most inconvenient times just to make herself look good. That must look and feel hella fake to Kim hence why she couldn't take it anymore and attacked her like: 'bitch, do you mind STFU and leaving me alone in public?'

We are living in the era of social media. If SJP said nothing publicly, people would have said she is heartless and Kim was right about her.

I don't understand why some people take side in this matter. We don't them nor their relashionship. None of us were on the set of SATC and saw how Sarah Jessica Parker or Kim Cattrall were behaving towards one another. It just saddens me to be honest because it kind of ruins the image the friendship between Carrie and Samantha for good. Remember the spin off to the Golden Girls called the Golden Palace when Bea Arthur left the show? No? Neither do a lot of people. It wasn't successful because the dynamic was too different. The first film had a genuine plot. The second film was fucking awful and just an easy cash grab. There's no reason to make a third film. It's unnecessary

I’ve dealt with people who treated me horribly and then want to be seen as angels. So I understand Kim’s perspective.

I thought what Sarah Jessica did was a nice gesture. Cattrall should have not responded at all. That would've been the most adult response if she didn't like a condolence from someone.

I must admit, trying to offer your condolences to someone you know doesn't like you is somewhat insulting. It's like you're *trying* to piss them off. Why would you do that?

Honestly, what was SJP supposed to say? She would’ve been blasted had she not acknowledged it and she got blasted for acknowledging it. She can’t win with Kim. I didn’t think Kim is the golden child in all of this. I really don’t. It seems like she was the issue behind the scenes.

If Kim Cattrall is truly nicer than Sarah Jessica Parker, she could have just responded with a Thank you. All the mean words were unnecessary. Just like she said to Piers Morgan, "I wish that she could have been nicer", it goes both ways. They both could be nicer. The cat fight at their age is childish.

There's something very disingenuous about sending somebody condolences on Twitter. On TWITTER!!! A private message or, even better, a phone call, would have been much more appropriate. Some of these celebrities just use social media to virtue signal and show all their fans what wonderful, caring people they are.

We all have that one person in a group or in work that seemingly everyone else loves but because we don’t kiss up to them we don’t get along with, I think this what that situation for Kim

I would really like to know exactly how has SJP mistreated her. Sending condolence on social media, where KC herself has announced the tragedy doesn't really seem like a thing to inspire such a reaction. If she doesn't care about SJP, why should she even care if there's tweet out there by SJP in the ocean of tweets, It just feels she really cares about SJP, and at such an emotional time she is having an outburst that you will have for someone you actually care about but are angry with. I hope and also feel they will sort this out.

An immature attack on someone who was only doing something most people would - show condolences to someone in grief. Grow up, Kim. Just because you don't like someone doesn't mean you have to respond like a 15 year old.

Yes I think it was rude of Kim. She could have blocked comments on her IG post, if she didn't wanted one, or blocked SJP if she didn't trust her. Nowadays it is common practice that people post about the funeral date of their loved ones on Fbook and other social media, and a lot of people write their condolences on that. Why post it on social media in the first place, if it inappropriate to offer condolences online? Besides, social media etiquette is not taught. A lot of people have different views on these topics therefore.

Who cares about their lack of friendship? The show was good and the first movie too. The 2nd movie was just silly and not enjoyable viewing. Both women should stop using the media for attention. There are more important things in the world.

The one word that popped out at me that SJO said was CONVEY which can mean: make (an idea, impression, or feeling) known or understandable to someone.

It's nobody's business but theirs, but I'm so curious to know what happened between them.

SJP knew already before she commented that it was unwanted and it is classless of her to continue to talk about what she needed to do to reach out, it is not about her and she should respect boundries ,clearly she doesn't. she just wanted to make herself look good or was worried how it would look if she did nothing, she could of done it privately if they are friends seem strange to me and I dont care about a 3rd movie.

This just shows you how good they were acting!

Its weird how the show was so personal yet the four main chstacters couldnt form a genuine friendship with each other. Unlike the hit show Friends where the ladies shared a good bond and friendship .

I 100% think they can do another SATC movie without Kim. They can just say that her cancer returned or sumthin. Make the opening scene at her memorial/funeral service. It’ll be an organic explanation for all the fans and sumthin that’s realistic as opposed to just completely acting as if Samantha Jones never existed.

I understand SJP. Yes they aren't friends but they worked closely together for years. A person you saw every day for years. So of course she had to know the relationship between Kim and her brother so if she hadn't reached out I would have been surprised. We all know people we work with that we don't particularly like that we would still give our condolences to if they lost someone close to them. You would put your petty differences aside.

That's cold, I think Sarah J Parker was nice to do that. She should have accepted what Sarah did & say thank you. I think Kim was so wrong. Even if you're mad at the person or hate the person, you could be gracious to accept their regards. Its fine to dislike someone that treated you bad in past. But what Kim did online was very disrespectful, she had no right to put someone SJP on blast like that.

Just because you're not friends with someone, doesn't mean they don't care about you. It also doesn't mean they wish you suffering. Obviously Kim knows much more than we do about Sarah and there are obvious reasons why she's so affected by a positive comment. I guess Sarah could have written her privately to show some authenticity...

So why did KC ask for public help finding her brother when he was found on his own property? Did they look before calling the press? Sounds like KC was using media coverage to leverage her celebrity more than SJP.

Everyone is making a big thing about SJP not calling but rather posting on KC's Instagram, but Cynthia Nixon did the same thing... She also posted on KC's Instagram so why is SJP being singled out as the "bad one"?

You're correct on that...I'm a huge Golden Girls fan as well, but they never tried to bring anyone else in Bea's place and I always wondered why they didn't at least try that.

You can't compete with such a strong actress and character, and I can't imagine an actress in the industry who'd want to take on the challenge. They did the same thing with Suzanne Somers on Three's Company. They thought, "oh, we'll just bring in another actress who can play the "dumb blonde" role underestimating how devoted people were to the Chrissy role, and she flopped. Jenilee Harrison's career never recovered. They quickly replaced Cindy with Terri, a non-dumb blonde role, but the show was never the same. Charlie's Angels got by with replacing Farrah Fawcett with Cheryl Ladd fairly successfully, but I think that was due in part that they made Kris Jill's younger sister, so you felt like you had to root for her,..I mean, who's not going to like Jill Munroe's little sister!

Kim must of gave spj her true friendship at one point and when spj turned around and didn't show kim her support when kim actually needed her spj just lost Kim's true friendship forever. And I'm glad kim moved on to a better life for herself. She will always be a true person at heart kim Cattrall aka Samantha! ♥

for years SJP was excluding Kim on set, making her work life unnecessarily shitty. Kim was going through a tough time in her personal life during the delays of making SATC the movie. Kim said none of the girls called her out of concern, but they just threw her under the bus for delaying/refusing to do the movie at the time. SJP is so fake. She would only send "care" in a public statement like this vs. having that kind of relationship irl. Kim's just keeping it real

Personally, I have a hard time dealing with the unfortunate embarrassing feud between Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall. As a fan of both the "Sex and the City" TV series and the movies, I was very surprised when I had learned of what happened with them recently in the news. I understand that Ms. Cattrall wanted to move on even though her fans don't exactly share the same feeling in regards to whether the "Sex and the City" franchise would continue with or without her. How sad indeed.

Kim was my favorite on SATC

I can only assume Kim is not this maniacal, I’m going to assume it’s deep grief. Plus they clearly just think very differently about life which is fine. But no need to be cruel.

If they do another movie wo Kim I guarantee you it will bomb! Good for her for moving forward and staying true to herself

priveyful im not saying that. Im just saying if she wants work, this is easy for her. She's not in too high demand, even for an actress her age. This is her signature role. Why not milk it for all it's worth?

I use to have a collied that made me feel so awful all the time, but was nice to me others where around. When I didn’t work there no more, she sent me a friend request on fb. No ma’am, don’t need that part of my life.

I don't get it, some assume Kim's the victim here because she was the one to speak out and say SJP was horrible to her. However, I have had people do similar things and it's usually a way for them to manipulate the audience into believing they are the victim. How do we know Kim isn't the actual bully and SJP was keeping it professional and not airing dirty laundry. I would have it a bet that Kim would have been quite dificult on set. I think it's pretty nasty to air your dirty laundry out to the media and not very fair. It's not very lady like. For those that say SPJ was mean for reaching out, I think it was also mean for Kim to air her dirty laundry to the world in the first place. Keep personal infights between you not the rest of the world.

Deb Elliott - That's interesting because Kim was the first to air her annoyance with SJP on in Oct, 2017 on piers morgan that she was not ever friends with SJP and that "she could have been nicer" so I mean if that's not bringing things to media I don't know what is. She could have kept that to herself and try and work it out with SJP or just leave it be and move on. But no she had to air it to the world. It's unfair because we only have Kim's perspective, so it's not and will never be an even playing field.

a publicized tweet is now considered common courtesy? not for my family/generation!!! if we can't visit face to face, we make personal phone calls (in private) and send hand written condolence letters usually accompanied by a bouquet of flowers (or charitable donation). tweets are for TWITS!
