Kilz Chalk Style Paint | My First DIY Furniture Makeover
I'd been itching to paint a piece of furniture, after searching FB marketplace I found a piece. Not sure how I would do my first time around I settled on Kilz Chalk Style Paint from Walmart. The only chalk style paint I'll use from here on out! See the transformation process!

Love it but i would stain top?
If I use kilz or waverly chalk paint can I use rustoleum matte clear top coat as the finish? The spray in particular.
I notice some people use wax after using chalk paint. Why?

To seal it so the paint doesn’t chip.

Oh okay I primed mines, do I still need it. I thought they used it for a vintage look, I saw two other videos and that’s what they using it for

Yes! That too. I used the clear wax because I didn’t want the worn/vintage look. I just wanted to seal it. If you choose to do a wax and you don’t want that look use clear. Hope that helps.

Looks great! How much time did it take to finish the project?
How has this held up over time?

It has held up very well. The only issue is one of my children left a drink on it and the paint warped a bit, but other than that I am very pleased.
