Why did ‘Killie’ play some of their home games that season in their away kit ?

Graham Ivison I’d imagine their home kit had white shorts instead of blue maybe?......well, against Celtic’s kit? Although it begs the question, where’s Celtic’s away kit here?

I think killie's home strip that season was hoops. Maybe to avoid confusion. Why didn't Celtic play in there away strip?

@@RomulanAleBoy The custom was for home teams to change colours if there was a clash but always wear their normal colours when playing away. Celtic used to play in all green at Parkhead against teams whose normal colour was white, Rangers played in white at Ibrox against Dundee or any other blue team, Aberdeen would change at home against normally 'red' teams etc. The idea, I think, was for the home fans to see other clubs in their 'normal' colours. It was round about this time that the rule was reversed and Celtic would then wear their 'change' colours as 'away' colours.
