Jesse sounds like an entirely different singer now. It’s crazy. I used to not be able to stand listening to his vocals. He’s dramatically different and He sounds a lot like Howard now. Crisp cleans. Strong screams, when singing the Howard era songs.

Spot on opinion. I remember seeing them at the Norva around 03 or 04 with Devildriver, Chimaira and Arch Enemy. I think Trivium and 69 Eyes were there too

Alive or Just Breathing is arguably the first melodic metalcore album, what began the whole 2000s metalcore movement.

Jesse has come so far as a vocalist, it's amazing. The whole band seems rejuvenated here. Best KSE performance I've ever watched front to back.

Hitting Howard’s notes is nearly impossible for most professional singers, especially cos he has this super unique operatic baritone type of voice, not to mention his screams…

Been watching KSE live performances for over a decade. Jesse has 100% incorporated some of Howards tone & style into his voice for certain songs in recent years. Love the mix of both. Both are KSE. P.s. Please do Rusted Embrace live.

He sounds so good on The End of Heartache it's ridiculous. Only person who could do it better is Howard himself. I'd love to see them play Save Me at some point, absolute banger

It always cracks me up because you can tell they stretch them out in an almost sarcastic manner. KSE is always having fun up there.

I've never been in three distinct circle pits during a single song before. It was glorious! I'll probably never get all that dust out of the fibers of my shirt but if that's the price for such an experience, I'm willing to pay.

Been a KSE listener since 2000-1ish. The entire band sounds great here. Last time I saw them was knotfest tour in late '21. Jesse continues to sound stronger and stronger. I'm so happy for all of them, they seem to be enjoying themselves so much now, I hope they are.

Thanks to all the Metal Heads at Arte's HQ for producing and releasing this. 🙏Keep up the good work!

Saw them live in cologne 3 weeks ago it was fantastic. They were one of the first and they STILL perform on the highest level, my utmost respect for these guys.

snare sounds like wet cardboard being thrown against a brick wall

the fucking effort it takes to start with my curse, keep that energy going to dive into rose of sharon over 40 minutes into the show and making it sound like they are still fresh. 20 minutes later, they are crushing my last serenade like jesse is hitting it on tour when it first came out. then somehow manages to go 100% on holy diver to close the show out. the music is always gonna be dope. but good fuck, all of your endurance is just incredible.

Jesse improved his vocals and he is live on another level.

Well. I wonder how bad he was, cause now he is missing a BUNCH of notes. Wrong pitch in almost all clean parts (a half note in some cases)

@@mosca79 Okay, i noticed only maybe two bad notes, which was maybe out of his range, but i really paid attention to his singing after i heard about his vocal surgery, and also his vocal training. Compared with his pre surgery live shows is this an absoltue stunnig performance. For me at least. And the pitch, well i didnt noticed it, but i am not a professional vocalist.

Jesse has stepped up his LIVE vocals up big time. We’ve been honored to have opened up for them in the past couple years. All the albums Howard took over, I’ve watched Jesse the past few years sound more and more like Howard. Yes J is still unique in his own style but I hear so much Howard in this concert. Jesses vox are more powerful than ever. Honored to be a part of the KSE fam 🔥

Se fue howard jones y esta banda en vivo ya no es lo que era. Jesse no llega al tono en casi ningún tema (partes limpias) Lamentablemente no tiene tecnica para cantar. No son temas tan agudos. Si sigue exigiendo la garganta lo va a pasar realmente mal. (Pero seguramente la mitad de los que ponen que en vivo es genial, ni sepan lo que es cantar afinado)

Seen them with baroness, suicide silence, and lamb of God in September 2022 in Jacksonville Florida. Lamb of God headlined. They killed it, it wasn't a festival though, it was a seated outdoor amphitheater. We were 7 rows from the standing room only pit, had sweet seats but had to stand the whole show anyway because nobody sat in their seats anyway. They killed "Holy Diver"

Love the energy, stage presence and Jesse looks like he’s been taking care of himself 👍
