KILLPEN RESCUE HORSE GETS *VERY* RELAXING ADJUSTMENT 🐴💩
SPARTAN is a gorgeous Standardbred living at Bergen Country Horse Rescue rescued from the killpens, and I think he might have been the most "relaxed" patient of the day! What do you think - did we get some good releases??

The leading organization, in my opinion, that has Veterinarians and Chiropractors that become Animal Chiropractors is the Animal Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) They have a website with a "Find a Doctor" tab/database: www.animalchiropractic.org
This a good resource for all that are looking for a well trained doctor near them.

Spartan has almost rolled his eyes from that last lumbar adjustment. Imagine walking through life working for humans while they care for you so much that you end up in a killpen at fourteen. I am so glad, that Spartan is in the right hands now - somtimes even including the most capable of Dr. Doug's.

Hi Vaga, the temporomandibular joint has connections to three superficial myofascial chains, the hyoid bone has connection to the dorsal muscle chain and ventral muscle chain. When I put my finger in his mouth and exert pressure on the tongue and or palate the horse start to chew, activates his hyoid bone, and release the tension. Horses have very often tension in the jaw that influences both the rest of the body and the mind of the horse. Thanks for your question, it is indeed all fascinating.
