Yeah it to this day is still my favorite, one of the most unique tracks I have ever heard, they managed to remix her Lobby theme in an upbeat yet uneasy, intense, fitting way. I think it is a master piece.

I think Plague should have whispers and prayers in the terror radius theme that build up into loud chanting in the chase theme just to give her a powerful presence

nah trickster is definitely S tier. if you read his lore it says that he records his victims screams of agony when he tortures them to death and he began remixing it into his songs on stage, so the chase music you're hearing with the "sirens" are actually distorted screams of his past victims. pretty cool

Nah man! I've stated it in the video, but I honestly think they did such an amazing job with pretty much every chase music, I love all of them and I think Dredge is fantastic as well. I probably should've named the tiers differently. The video may make it seem as C-Tier or D-Tier isn't good. But honestly, I think they're amazing. And there is that sound in Dredge's music that almost sounds like a broken clock which makes it so good.

Trickster is one of the few who make me uncomfortable, I don't care about monsters because they are not real, but humain madness do exist, so that why I think he is pretty well done, the song for the chase is also related to he's storyline, he actually kidnapping and torture people and recorded the screaming of pain into the music, the music is a bunch of screaming and twisted sound of kpop style

For me it's the opposite. It makes sense to run away and hide from a monster with inhuman strength, but a random skinny edgy kpoper? Doesn't feel like he belongs in a horror game

for me: 1: Wesker - its like your final boss battle music 2: demogorgon - just like the hole vibe 3: Pyramid Head - the bells are... so so great!

Legion's reworked chase music and the addons make theirs easily one of my favorites. Great breakdown, I appreciate your commentary and hearing your thought process.

for me it somehow sounds like broken glass, which fits her lore, even though theres no glass sounds in it

Fun fact, for some of the killers, killer's powers are actually able to affect some part of the song. Legion is the most well known one, but deathslinger, twins, and spirit (might be some I'm missing) affect the song. When deathslinger ads, if the survivor is looking at the killer, they will hear the rattle of a snake and if ds keeps on aiming, a high pitch ringing will eventually build up (like if you used dead eye in RDR). And if you successfully harpoon someone, the music will go back to layer 3 until the chain snaps. But wait, there's more. If the survivor is still alive after the hit, the song will pick back up to layer 4 seamlessly, but if the chain snaps, the song would fade out for a second and fade back in sync with his grunting. Twins and Spirit isn't as complicated and they both work almost the same. When they use their power, the song would still be in layer 4 but lowered and if the killer is still in the terror radius and chases you again, the song picks back up again. Anyways, hope this interesting and good job on the video mate.

Wesker's terror radius starts out mild but the closer he gets the more it builds. The actual chase music is just out of this world good. I feel like you need a S tier for everyone else and S+ for Wesker.

Wesker and nemesis chase music makes me headbang.

The percussion in the Dredge's theme sounds like a broken clock, which makes perfect sense. As for Wesker's theme, I got the impression it wasn't that far off from his theme, Winds of Madness.

Insane the amount of effort put in to this video, love it!

Artist’s theme is one of my favorites- it’s anxiety incarnate, _especially_ the buildup versions, and the percussion sounds like massive wingbeats, which is awesome.

Personally I think ghostfaces chase theme doesn't fit him, but his 3 phases before chase definitely fit him, I like to think of it as his anticipation for killing the survivors increases each second he's closer to you. But his chase music the ones that's faster than this one I like it the most

Thank you for putting Oni’s chase music at S Tier! I genuinely believe that Oni’s chase music is perfect for Oni when you play as and against him. I think Pyramid Head should have been S Tier and Dredge should have been higher like A Tier, but overall great tier list!

The default chase music you mentioned in this video is chase music that can only be heard when playing as those 9 killers but there’s also 6 different chase musics that play through the survivors pov when being chased by those 9 killers

The only one here that kinda hurt was the Myers ranking. The music in my opinion is so nostalgic, like the music just reminds me of the fear those movies instilled you with. I'd put it at least high A just for nostalgia factor.

I know your list is your list and your preference… But slingers music is S tier. The western style theme matches well with slingers lore being he is from the frontier period. The jumpy almost jittery beat while strange, are actually in relation to the guessing and shooting play style of slinger. During a chase you have to aim and shoot only giving a survivor mere seconds to react, each jump in the beat always reminds me of slinger suddenly making a shot. It’s exciting to listen too and run away from.

I chose to main Legion because he was Canadian, is a human killer and I own the CoD:Ghost mask which made it awesome to cosplay Joey with while I stream, imagine how happy I was to find what Legion chase music was, specially as a heavy metal fan

My favorite chase theme is the Artist's. It's so creepy! Especially with all of the high-pitched sounds, the swarm of crows and her creepy moaning behind you... I feel so terrified. I'm like "get away from me!". I think the Artist kind of looks like the actress Famke Janssen, the one who played Jean Grey in the old X-Men trilogy movies. Does anyone agree with me? She also kind of looks like the spider button-eyed witch in "Coraline and The Secret Door".

For me, Blight’s chase music sounds like a Lost City movie set in the 1940’s.

great video, my only complaint is the pinhead position lol, you yourself said that you are not intimate with the hellraiser franchise, so your opinion is understandable, but his theme really matches as if you were running from a sadomasochistic priest from hell, and if you pay attention, you can hear voices in the music in an opera style.

I love Nemisis' chase theme in game more, because his stomping makes it all the more exhilarating.

I miss the old Demo POV chase music, they changed it to be the same one the survivors hear but I preferred when it was the 24m version

I’ll be honest, I liked Ghostface old chase music but his new one is actually pretty good. Like everytime I get into a chase with him and see him get into his other stance (he has 2, one is where he stands up straight and the other is where he leans forward as he’s running to you) and I just love how he does that, it matches his chase music. Each step he takes it just syncs with the beat

the scary thing about nemesis chase music is the heartbeat and the Loud footsteps of him Trailing right behind you

14:53 to me those high pitchs on trickster chase music is to mimic a person screaming (like he did in the lore)

You should rank their menu music some of these killers have default chase but different menu music. Also you should listen to pyramid head's chase music when it was still in public test build if you havent already, I think it sounds good.

What makes The Trickster’s theme so good is that it is entirely made from samples of screams, which is of course how he made his music so catchy during his life before being taken.

this is completely random- hillbilly's music is the scariest to me. i never play him, but when i go over his character in the menu, even his menu music gives me the creeps. I don't know if his chase music just sounds scary or if i'm just scared of him..

Plague not having an unique chase ost is such a fking shame. Like, they lost an amazing chance of making her theme be her followers chanting as she chases. So sad. Or even Nurse, like giving her chase theme be nothing. Like, it gets quieter as she chases and the only thing you hear is some whispers.

I would personally move Onryo and Artist up into A tier and trickster and Clown into B. Chase music is all about the dread that you feel when youre being chased combined by looking back and seeing your pursuer, and Onryo and Artist definitely have that element

Spirit is amazing tho. It literally sounds like something out of Outlast and it always puts me on Edge

There’s like 9 chase themes for the characters that don’t have their own unique music. It’s different from the survivor and killer perspective

Myers should've gotten higher as it's a more dramatic take on his original chase theme from the movies "The Shape Lurks". They added more instruments to up the drama of not just watching someone get chased by Myers, but *you're* getting chased by him.

Pinheads music is supposed to sound like you summoned him, which is why it sounds the way it does. Its summoning pinhead music

dredge makes me think something is behind me every time

the dredge chase music reminds me a lot of the Boogey man theme from the movie the sinister.

I feel that Spirit is super generic compared to her lore. I would have loved for some Japanese touches with intense drum beats to mirror her rage. I feel music should convey a story, the spirit one could be used on any generic killer as is.

Top favorite killers for me: Michael because I love the Halloween franchise and Wesker because the RE franchise is great, and he is too. Edit: If skins count as well then I'll also have to add in HUNK

I really don't love Wesker's chase music all that much but as somebody who's played all the mainline RE games and even some others, it definitely has the "Resident Evil" sound to it and it does fit him fairly well.

I'm surprised how low you put Deathslingers music. It's personally one of my favorites of chase themes.

I really like Wesker's music but it feels too epic and not creepy enough. And my 2 personnal favorites are deathslinger and billy, how can deathslinger be last tier ?! But nice content sir thanks
