Boxing warm up exercises are an easy way to prepare you for more rigorous training or even a fight itself. Warming up is an essential part of remaining healthy, fit and making sure you're at the top of your game. Preparing your body for a workout means your muscles are more relaxed, lessening the risk of straining them and causing yourself injury. It helps to increase your flexibility and gets your body ready for the training. These warm ups are perfect for targeting every part of the body you need to be the best boxer you can be, strengthening both your physical and mental conditions and lessening the risk of injuring yourself.

An effective warm up can improve the rate of force development, reaction time, and oxygen delivery during exercise. If we get the warm up wrong, all our hard work in training could be undone, by doing too little or too much.
Most successful boxing performances are a result of great amounts of technical, tactical, physical and psychological preparation. The final part of that journey is the warm up. This is a vital stage, if you get this wrong, all your hard work could be undone by doing too little or too much. 99% of boxers will shadow box and perform pad work before a fight. However, only a small percentage will perform a structured physical warm up.

@@salahaddinhashimalhusam7697 actually it's not. It doesn't have a profound logic. There's dynamic stretch of the arms followed by plyometric with the lower body, push ups + isometrics.... If you do this before a strength session you will fail on long term, even before a boxing specific training with bags and sparring. This at best could be turned into a session of conditioning/active recovery followed by 30 minutes of slow cardio and stretch.

@@salahaddinhashimalhusam7697 of course with much pleasure if my answer will help. You're boxing training (skill, bag, sparring)is already a stamina and lactic tolerance training but the part where most fail is the ratio of work and rest time. You should go progressively for overtime and recover with undertime. Boxers usually do 3:1 (3 minute round with 1 rest) ratio but you should progress and be able in time to go even for 4-5 even 6:1. Then you will really be a cardio machine. You should also have easy days with 2:1 1:1 even 1:2. This of course are just indicators, everything will be adapted specifically to each athlete. This for the specific skill work for boxing. You should also do at least 2 days/week of conditioning with weights and cardio. To sum everything. Don't mix boxing and s&c in same training.
