Yeah he really caught my attention when Dillinger's "Miss Machine" album came out. That album is fuckin' crazy, Chris Pennie's chops are so sick on that album, plus Greg's mix of screaming and singing works really well with the super crazy dissonant riffs.

Troy’s voice is great now. The way Troy and Greg’s voices play off eachother is great. I hope these guys reunite again for another album. Now is the best time - with the pandemic going nowhere. And Max is getting old - nearing 60s. So I hope they do it sooner than later

Love the chorus. Every song on this album is pretty heavy, but this is the one song that is pretty radio and upbeat, and I like that in small doses. I personally love this track.

Heavy mastedon influence. But these guys are heavier then mastedon. But he definitely brought some of their sound with him.

I am so glad they decided to do a performance video for their first single. I wanted to see them playing together. Hope they decide to do some live shows.

It's all in the ears of the beholder. Taste is like the buttocks, divided and unlike. To me, Troy Sanders is the weakest link while Greg and Max as always shows how to wash the clothes properly, how to shoot the duck, how to kick some ass. Like they did in "Rise of the Fallen", but this is way better. The whole album is very good while Greg Puciatos other side project is even better (perhaps THEE best), The Black Queen (no metal).

I don't know about that, Soulfly released a lot of good stuff. Their latest is awesome. Anyways, I love Troy's vocals here. In this song, I feel like Max's contributions (at least vocally, who knows who wrote what in terms of instruments) aren't that great but on other songs his presence is great.

Well, as long as i remember hes always played the rythm only. Solos aint his thing and aint going to happen with 4 strings only anyway. Nowdays he kinda figured out, that if theres 2 guitar players, he doesnt need to play all the time and can do his little odd hand signs and sht.

He also stops playing to make hand gestures live as well. The other guy said that Max is a rhythm guitarist, who has other people playing with him, so that he has the freedom to stop playing sporadically. God damnit, Mario, you're out of your element.

I believe all those views are from me. Killer Be Killed has become one of my favorite bands in the past year!!! Fucking love these guys.

I genuinely think that this may be the best song ever written. It's absolutely perfect.

Easily the best supergroup track out there, not because I'm a fan of everyone involved (Troy was the main pull back when I first heard this), but because it feels like all of the bands playing one song with their own segments complimented by subtle approaches from the over members.

I found about them through the same article. I'm a big Mastodon fan so I knew that Troy had his side project but never bothered to give it a listen until they had the video linked in the article. Glad they did.

If you ever get the chance to see these guys live DO IT! Saw them at their 2nd show ever, at Soundwave in Adelaide, Slipknot JUST beat them for my band of the festival. They did a side wave supporting Lamb of God and by all accounts Lamb of God could not compete and they should have been supporting Killer Be Killed... although i did notice they had a additional guitarist on stage but cant remember his name. If they come back to Australia i will definitely be seeing them again, Amazing energy

I love how low-slung his drum set and cymbal setup is, looks extremely ergonomic and you can actually see the fucking crowd from his perspective.

these super guys still bring me to tears... rock is alive.

For those who are not familiar with Greek mythology, this song references Icarus, son of Daedalus. Daedalus built the Labyrinth for King Minos to imprison the Minotaur, spawn of the Cretan Bull and the king's wife, but he and Icarus were jailed by the king for helping his daughter help Theseus defeat the Minotaur. In order to escape, Daedalus built wings of, what else? Wax and feathers. Daedalus flew first, and warned Icarus not to fly to high or to low, but to follow his flight pattern. Basically, Icarus became too excited by this new experience and flew too high, causing the wings to melt. He fell to his death into, what is now known as the Icarian Sea, and drowned. Hope this helps.

I literally listen to this song at least once everyday...what a supergroup...they all compliment each other perfectly and this metalcore feel is amazing...and I could imagine the amount of criticism I'm gunna get for saying this but metalcore is dying so this definitely rejuvenates the genre bigtime..even tho all three of these dudes aren't in band's that play that genre of music whatsoever I'm digging the shit out of this...added to the gym playlist lol

I saw mastodon live back in 2001 before they made it big at a little club in fayette ville Arkansas they were badass l knew they were going to get some where. 1 year later remission came out on relapse records. I knew it.

Wow. 1st time hearing of this band. The combination of the vocal talents are amazing.

I like how they are not worried about trying to be the heaviest or even the most experimental and crazy band out there besides the fact that they all came from extremely respected bands. They're just friends having fun with their music, it doesn't means that they need to try their best to push the boundaries all of the time just because they are great musicians, I mean, it may not be the most innovative thing I've heard in awhile but sure is fresh and exciting music, way better than most pretentious bands that think they are the most impactful thing on music nowadays.

I really appreciate when artists from other bands get together for a project and don't sound like any of their original bands, I love Dillinger Escape Plan, Mastodon, Sepultura and Converge but they already exist so I'm glad that Killer be Killed sounds like Killer be Killed and not like those other bands. Originality is king, especially in Metal/rock.
