Almost 3 years, still the fistbump in 2:10 hits hard

Here I am almost four years after the epic release of this masterpiece and I still get goosebumps when they show Howard’s arm. I grew up listening to Howard as the lead singer and I won’t be a hypocrite, when he left I was pretty sad, as a black kid who was always a huge fan of metal, having Howard as the frontman for one of my favorite bands ever was really inspiring, I’ve always looked up for him. When Jesse came back I didn’t really liked it because I was such a huge fan of Howard, but then they came to Brazil back in 2013 and I got to see Jesse live in action and it blew me away, since then I’m just glad that I lived to see those two metal legends singing for one of my favorite bands. I guess that it is a thought that every KsE fan had ever since the release of this song, but damn… They really should consider bringing Howard back to share the mic with Jesse!

Jesse talked about the whole process of making this song and touring with light the torch. And said how Howard is a legend and he had to sing his songs and Howard to sing his songs as well. How they handled the situation respectfully as professionals and made an incredible song together. Thats how the world should be

if there was a history book on metal history this moment would be in my top favorite moments. i am glad i was here to witness such a beautiful moment. if i had to compare this moment to a moment in world history, it would be when east and west Germany became whole again. the Fans of Jesse and the Fans of Howard coming together to witness this glorious masterpiece.

I remember hearing this song for the first time it made me cry hard!!! I Love both singers and i love the band wholeheartedly!!! I need them in my life!!

I hope....BTW, I never give up on hope....KSE felt what WE felt when those two voices came together!! I just saw this for the first time today in 2024

I still get chills watching this video every time Howard picks up that microphone. Such an epic song and moment.

The first time I watched the video 3 years ago I got chills when I saw Howard's back and then legit tears of happiness when he came out. But what was even better was seeing the pure joy on Jesse's face when he was singing with his friend. The whole band just brought so much primal energy that I still get goosebumps every time I hear the song and the permanent hearing loss has been worth it. Much like nearly every comment says, we need a full album with Jesse and Howard.

Howard’s entrance was the best entrance of 2019.

Just read that this song is a tribute to the issues that Howard experienced with his mental health and diabetes back in 2009-13. His story as the backdrop to this already great track makes it that much greater. Loved that he also teamed with Jesse for this one. Their intensity when doing vocals just resonates with fans in a way that it is hard to describe. Hope they do more tracks like this.

Omg the amount of adrenaline and hype I get when watching that Howard entrance and at the end the fist bump AH!!!!!! I love this band

Jesse is fantastic, but I went through highschool listening to Howard's era of KsE. His vocals will always hold a special place in my heart. I really hope both vocalists decide to make more songs together whether under KsE or an alternate project.
