Tony is usually pretty classy about only being as mean to people as they can handle unless they're assholes. When Redban mentioned that his "where are they now article" was five years old, Tony reacted like "dude that's just sad, stop."

I wasn't a fan the first few episodes I tried to watch. I just thought everyone was being overly mean, but then I realized that everyone going up (usually) is prepared to get roasted and that's kind of the point of the show.

joels whole thing was kind of just being the crazy shock value guy though. almost in a similar way redband is. not really funny and for everyone, but almost becomes funny when a joke misses cause tony jeremiah or a guest will roast them. hell even redban would roast him

Santino is the real man for having esthers back the whole time.

How cool and fun it must be to be a part of a show like this or just have a group of friends who all hang out at the comedy store and do podcasts together.
