the fact that this song is eight years old, and that i only now know the meaning behind it makes me think about how much i've grown over time, first time listening to this song was around middle school, about six years ago, it might be because of my experiences, but from what i've gathered, it's a song about unrequited love from a childhood friend and the person trying their best to deal with it, but ultimately it leads to them spiraling into a severe mental breakdown. i'd delve even more into this, but it'd be a bit too dark.

guys stop being dicks about the meme, its great practice for animators as they have many references of others whom have done it to compare their own art to this helps them get better at their own work along with enjoy the creativity of what others have done. I'm sorry that when you think of meme you think of a joke passed along from one to another rather than an animation passed from one to another. I can agree it's annoying that half the animation Memes that come out are edgy AF, but they are great practice for those who wish to animate. JacobTheSomething you're probably just saying they're not creative because most of them have to do with fandoms animators are in. people do other things than that, you know. some people even use OCs! witch i may remind you, has the world ORIGINAL in it. most OCs are VERY creative. and have amazing backstories. OCs can have two personalities, secret evil talents, or have one of their friends or family member die in some horrible way, and that's just the short list. and just because people get inspiration from other things they love, doesn't mean they're not original.

Cory Jordan so that wasn't what i meant, but i'll still respond to that. i honestly have no idea if that's sarcasm, because it seems way too much like it, because slapping oc onto something doesn't make it original or creative, and "secret evil talents" or "family member dies in a horrible way" are some pretty cliche traits, actually. though it's really because an "animation meme" forces the person making it to follow some sort of formula rather than the person doing whatever they want. if you don't get what i mean, you'll notice if you look up a specific "animation meme". they'll all be relatively the same other than having different characters.

I am addicted to this song. Yes, I came from the meme. But not all of the memes are edgy. Some of the people are totally against the edgy of memes. The people who don't do the edgy memes usually turn all of them into something bright and colorful, or something creepy instead of edgy. (There is a difference)
