Yes, we kill millions of living entities even by simply breathing or walking places, the reaction is still there so we must surrender to Krishna if we want to get free from the unfavourable results of these actions

I respected prabhupad and kept his photo in my Shrine. But after reading his books where he says women like rape and women are less intelligent ,sun is closer to earth than moon etc etc I moved his photo to my toilet commode.

As Srila Prabhupada had, this wisdom given, in very broader sense Yes, but it's actually about "consciousness vegetables contain to feel pain, but they don't feel great pain like cows or humans feel in fact that is according the type of species they are in...like if.a.tree is cut down, it doesn't react and seem to.cry like humans do, but yes still they feel pain as.they have consciousness as.a soul though not that developed one, but by nature's law they are within actual food cycle and made for human beings, so it's or natural duty to be vegetarian but great sin to kill what is out of our eating cycle assigned by nature's law, great sin if we eat and jump on to an animal's food cycle for meat to satisfy our tongues. Another point is when we offer vegetarian food or foodstuffs to Lord Krishna then that life in the foodstuff attains liberation into Lord bhakti or eternal service, hence no sin is calculated but we must offer it firstly to God then eat. Also last but not the least - Meat cannot be offered to God as it is against the law of nature, sinful and hence not accepted by Lord as he has said in Bhagavad-Gita that 'patram puspam" or tulsi leaves and puspam or natural vegetation or vegetarian stuff not meat.... Thank god I got the answer. I am non-vegentarian and live in orissa. Here we don't get good veg food except for dalma or dahi-vada-aalu-dum. And recently I got spiritually advanced. I started to feel guilty about eating non-veg. But watching this video has made me feel more focused on my life goal rather than focusing on the small things. though it is not a small thing but not exactly my soul purpose of my life to focus on things other than my actual life purpose. If you want to feel guilty about it -- then - Also feel guilty about walking on street and killing insects or ants beneath your foot - feel guilty about killing cockroaches in your home. - feel guilty to get wooden furnitures which are made by killing/cutting living trees So it's an endless process - but in the end feel free to do what you want but always be devoted to your life's purpose defined by god. This is what matters the most.

Killing animals by mistake is different to killing animals for food to satisfy your taste buds ,thats what the demons did as they killed humans and consumed their flesh to satisfy their palate ,imagine if demons justify oh its ok we kill so many animals too before coming to attack humans...
