Plants are real beings but they don’t need to be killed to eat them. To eat the apple that rots immediately if you don’t eat it, does one have to cut the whole tree down? Do you have to pull the whole plant out of the ground to eat the kale or the herbs? No. This is what meat addicts say in defense. “ aww poor animals how about poor plants!” It’s a matter of ignorance blinding the mind from common sense. pinkyyy549

Srila Prabhupada is a sanyasi from India, he is saying that when we have sufficient food grains, milk, fruits, killing animals for food, is sinful. Father is saying it is good to kill animals.
