Really loved the video, the general message and the display of endurance by Kilian. Only suggestion I would have would perhaps to add a disclaimer at the beginning of the video. Kilian is a beast and he can achieve incredible things with very little gear. I just think it would be a good idea to add a warning at the start that normal people should not attempt these things the way he does it. Great video, keep then coming!

this is the reason why I keep buying Salomon products, so they can make good videos

Because he is Spanish and no one in the world gives two craps about us, unless you are someone like Rafa Nadal who is constantly on tv winning stuff, then people can’t ignore you. Also he does a sport that does not have a very big following in most places around the world.

Running is not a spectator sport. Otherwise Courtney Dauwalter and Kilian Journet would be as big as Mike Tyson and Michael Jordan.

I think the reason is, he is far too busy doing what he loves to care about that stuff. I guarantee if he entered more high profile races in the USA and/or on the international stage he would be more recognized but that may cut into his day to day love of what he does. This guy gets life. Do what you love and let the rest sort it's self out:)

i did pretty much the same thing for my first diagonale des fous, (and for my second i didn't sleep at all for 52h...) but i eat a lot more and i was a lot lot slower (same km but 12000D+ less). For many people at diagonale des fous it's pretty much the same 1-2hours of sleep for 45h to 65h finisher

The guy is a complete stud. I love my X Alp shoes, those things should be in everyones arsenal who love to climb, especially for training hikes and scrambles.

I remember the first UTMB shirt I saw - in person, on a person. Respect.

I love the S/lab XA shoes. They were my favorite shoe to wear while in the Alps. I am excited to get my hands on the new X alpine modular system. That will be a great combo for a one and done boot system for the traveling to the Alps. I had my X Alps and XA shoes with me. If I could have combine those two into one.. That would have been a game changer for when I got myself into situations where I wished I had more of a boot, or when I wished had more of a running shoe. Salomon is really coming out with awesome stuff with Kilian's input.
