I totally agree. The current Megadeth lineup is killer and I’m really excited to hear the band’s follow up to Dystopia. With that being said my personal favorite Megadeth lineup was with Marty Friedman and Nick Menza. Not only did they make some of the best Megadeth songs and albums but that was the lineup I grew up with. Rust in Peace, Countdown, Youthanasia, and Cryptic Writings were all amazing records in there own way.

holy shit, that stage presence is something unique this short clip says a lot about kiko's technique, just by the fact that he nails every damn note while running (even sweeping while moving the guitar) makes me really proud to see our extremely talented brazilian musicians getting worldwide recognition

He can walk during the most difficult part. I cant even breath during it.

@@olirossow3179 the album is fucking amazing. You should take a listen since the compositions are pretty solid, with awesome solos by both Marcelo and Rafael and a great mastering/mixing. There is no bad or average song. Highlights are Insania, Caveman, Magic Mirror and War Horns (the one with a solo by Kiko).

picking hands is insanely relaxed

Like how he plays it slightly different and puts his own thing on it! Lotta style and feel!!

No one can play the end of the solo like Marty did on the album. Not even really Marty

Always loved kiko since i was 17 man... thats a long time ago. I was so happy when he got the megadeth gig!!! Such an an amazing player! Loved his solo stuff and it made me get into string skipping and playing with your pick and fingers. Awesome match.

You can barely see his fingers moving on the fretboard and the picking hand make it seems like there are no strings causing any type of resistance. Kiko is absolutely ridiculous. I have watched him play at least 3 times here in Brazil with Angra, playing songs way more complex than Megadeth and the little effort was the same as presented here.

People don't talk about kikos stage presence and Charisma enough. He kicked ass in Concord. Killed every solo n riff all while having great stage presence.

Kiko is unreal. Broderick was a perfectionist and played the Friedman solos almost perfectly, but Kiko plays them close to perfect , but with an amazing stage presence and "feel" that hasn't been seen since Marty played it live with the band.

Suena interesante con el cambio de tono en la canción. En cuanto al intérprete, Kiko es excelente y en esta pasada le da un toque magistral a uno de los mejores solos ever. Altísimo nivel.

Where in Mannheim was this show? I was stationed in Mannheim/Sandhofen/Coleman Barracks and saw many concerts there and in Ludwigshafen. Best shows in Europe were just a train or rental car away. 🤘🤘🤘

I bought it for around 1500€ two months ago and it's simply awesome The problem is that it's very hard to find an available guitar with a quick delivery so you'll probably have to wait for months

Any professional guitarists could replicate Marty solos easily, the hardest part is how you can create your own solos so everybody wants to replicate you....

Here in Brazil we call him "Kiko Cuzão". It means he's a great guitarist and a really nice person to be around.

Sim . Mustaine deixa q seus músicos adaptem algumas partes da forma q eles tocam ... Glen Drover mudava muitas coisas em seus solos . Por exemplo o próprio solo da tornado of souls .. na versão do Glen Drover era um pouco diferente

Kiko is the best since Friedman.. Best fit for sure. Incredible. Chris Broderick was best technically I think. But missing something for Megadeth. My top 3 are Friedman/Kiko and Poland.
