The Placer County Sherriff's Office released a statement on August 23 that read: "Today, an autopsy was conducted on the deceased individual who was found in the Prosser Reservoir on Sunday, August 21st. The Nevada County Sheriff-Coroner has identified the decedent as 16-year-old Kiely Rodni, of Truckee. "The Placer County Sheriff’s Office and the Nevada County Sheriff's Office are in communication with Kiely’s family and offer our deepest condolences to them during this extremely difficult time." Volunteer diving team Adventures with Purpose claimed to have discovered the 16-year-old's body inside of her car at the Prosser Reservoir. An investigation is still being conducted and the FBI has offered to examine the SUV, and California Highway Patrol is leading the investigation into the collision. Kiely disappeared around 12.30am on August 6 near the Prosser Family Campground in Truckee, California.

AWP is great at underwater recovery and completely suck at homicide investigation , as they are divers not detectives. They found Kiely's car and her body was in it, but they immediately said it was not an accident and foul play was likely (before it was even confirmed to be Kiely). It's too bad they started that internet rumor which resulted in her friends and family harassment. AWP should only have said "we aren't making any public statements at this time, we are divers not investigators". It is highly unlikely any LE agency will request their assistance in the future with the media frenzy they caused with their unprofessional opinion and accusations void of any investigation and their highlighting the story the 'tow truck guy' made-up about servicing the car after it was already in the water. In conclusion: •Underwater recovery - excellent ✔️ •Investigating and reporting - incompetent and abysmal ❌️

@@ninjacat508 You assume too much and are not accurate in your account. Nobody from AWP publicly said it was a murder. The ONLY thing said was Nick saying he thought it was suspicious that she was found in the cargo area. That is all. That is not unprofessional or wrong. It was his opinion, which would of course be based on his experience. Secondly you state your doubt that any police department would ever use them again. I would point out no police department has EVER used them. AWP always does their investigation at the request of private citizens, friends or family of the missing. The police are never contacted until a vehicle is already found by the team. I find it telling that you feel free to state your opinion but deny that same right to AWP.

I would have liked to see a sampling of all her interviews. I get it that you think she's telling the truth in this video. What about when she starts changing her story in later interviews about the last phone call and who called who. Especially, after the firecam footage shows Kiely was in the water at the time she says the call went out. Was Kiely calling for a chat as her car was going underwater? Sami goes on and on about the exact time of that last call. 12:36 And, she goes on and on about the fact that Prosser has been thoroughly searched, when the Arcadia dive team only searched 25 ft out from the bank in the area Kiely was found. So, not a thorough search. The Arcadia dive team was told to only search near the shore up to 25 ft out. Why were they given such strict search orders, in the exact spot AWP eventually finds Kiely. Still doesn't make sense to me. I'd like to see more please :)

They were all engaging in illegal behavior. I don't think that means she thinks one of their group did something specifically to Kiely. I would imagine if she found out someone had hurt her friend, she would hang that person out to dry. But just publicly throwing out everyone's name when they probably have little to no involvement? Also, she may not be doxxing the guests, but that doesn't mean the police aren't aware. It is also possible the police told her not to throw around names publicly. Teens stick together to a point. Curious - how do you differentiate between someone who is cold and distant vs someone who hasn’t felt the full reality of a situation? I tend to take a long time to fully grasp the severity of things - for instance, my uncle went missing in his small plane on Father’s Day years and years ago and when my parents came in to tell me they were rushing to his house (a few states away), my thought was, “why? I’m sure he’s fine.” It took more than a week for me to really feel it and grasp what was happening. His plane crashed and he didn’t survive the crash but it just didn’t seem logical that he’d be gone. What would you say are the signs of someone who is dismissive because of antisocial personality, sociopathy, or psychopathy vs this sort of slow processing? Thanks for all you guys do!

It’s statistically more likely that your parents didn’t tell you something such as “he was going night blind but didn’t want to admit it”, than it is that you are anything even remotely like a sociopath, especially because a sociopath is least likely to reflect on their own behavior, and you are openly trying to confront it. It’s normal for the brain to avoid the bad news. When I found out dad had ALS it took me over a week to realize he was going to die suffering from a terrible disease. When the realization hit I was devastated but I should have grasped the situation from the get go because I was a healthcare provider. Dad passed 3 years later completely paralyzed except for one finger while his brain and nervous system was fully functional. Imagine getting itchy or a cramp and not being able to scratch or move a little for some relief. My brain just didn’t want to acknowledge those facts.

@@jennyrose2200 None of these people on the internet were there and none of them are more qualified to make any determination more so than experts, but they sure like to think they know more than they do.

I saw many red flags. I don’t necessarily think she killed Kiely, but I don’t believe her or trust her.

You can lie perfectly without getting nervous if you're a pathological liar. I've heard of it before including experiencing my adopted sociopathic brother everyday since he was 1. Were you guys paid to weigh in? The rest of KZreadrs were theatened to stop. Kiely had no alcohol in her stomach. She wasn't drunk like Sami said she was.

Even pathological liers get nervous about possible murder charge. Too much to loose. Specially if they are fairly young.

She did have alcohol in her system .88mg just barely over the legal limit When your body is in decomp it can't emitt that much ethanol due to the fact her body was in an anaerobic state underwater!

Thinking the same thing, I hope the REAL Body Language Guy I usually watch sees. Anyhow, I'm feeling they're working to fix Sami's reputation. Also, another true crime site said Sami is 24 and has a twin brother. If they were good friends, why did she find out how long it takes for her to get home from Prosser, she should've had the knowledge of approximate time. And, these kids if friends, know an iPhone from an android, but her pretty good friend that says "bye I Love you" to her blames the phone case for not knowing the type of phone she had. Sami is a narcissistic pathological liar. I fear she's very dark, and her videos prove that. And she'll have plenty of victims left in her path in life. Even LE let this 19 (24?) year old control the information gathering for their investigation. She said come to me, you don't need to go to the police, yhen corrects that by saying you can go but go to her too. These guys are just playing each other up. Won't subscribe. Sami knows, Sami is a Casey Anthony, Lori Vallow Daybell in the making.

She was supposed to be going home with Kiely but she wanted to leave earlier but Kiely wanted to stay longer, so she went to find a lift home. I think she feels guilty about not staying and left Kiely behind when she was so drunk. As sad as this is I hope it is a lesson to other kids that you should not drink and drive.

Witnesses say that Kiely was wanting to leave and Sami wanted to stay, as she stated. But once Kiely was good and drunk, which I don’t believe, Sami ditched her. What a friend!

I've been picking Up Info from All Your videos. And realise now I'm doing it live when I talk to Others. Unfortunately/fortunately Its led me To finding out truths I didn't want to know About those close to me. After I saw off behaviours and changes in behaviours and then dug in a little on the topics that caused it They then told me the truth. You have however opened my eyes and for that I am grateful. This was. Another great video thankyou for sharing your knowledge with us.
