Kids' WB (stylized as Kids' WB!) was an American children's programming service and brand of The WB that aired on the network from September 9, 1995, to September 16, 2006. The block moved to The CW, where it aired from September 23, 2006, to May 17, 2008. After the block was discontinued, its Saturday morning programming slot was sold to 4Kids Entertainment and replaced by its successor block, The CW4Kids (later renamed Toonzai).

I am very surprised that they didn't review one of my favorite Kids' WB shows: XIAOLIN SHOWDOWN. This cartoon was one of the higher quality cartoons ever on the block. Filled with everything, including: action, comedy, drama, subtle life lessons, character development and growth. It even had a fun and interesting overall plot and gimmicks to separate it from other shows. They even had specials, merchandise, and contests for kids and teens. Needless to say, it's among my top favorites.

It’s pretty interesting to think about. Like, on one hand, it’s refreshing to have more creative freedom with your work. But on the other hand, fewer limitations does kinda limit the creativity a bit - there’s a lot less obstacles to avoid in off-the-wall ways when you can just run in a straight line.

Transformers 1-3, Bumblebee and Rise of the Beasts have flaws but are awesome movies. Transformers 4 kinda good but a bad plot and last knight is actually stupid. A few stupid movies would be Food fight, Rapsitte Street Kids, Sausage Party, and Mike Myers Cat in the Hat. 49:59 The Batman series is my personal favorite. What I loved most about it, is how it chronicles the story of Bruce's journey from lone vigilante to a hero of the world. Tom Kenny as Penguin is just perfect. Each season is open and ended with no cliffhangers. The first season is The Batman saga. The 2nd the Dark Knight saga. The 3rd, the Batgirl saga. The 4th, the Batman and Robin saga. And the 5th, the Brave and the Bold saga. And of course, you have the tv movie Batman vs Dracula.

This video was terrific! I do indeed appreciate that you all talked about Pokémon, Yugioh, X-men evolution, and a lot of other wonderful cartoons. However I was disappointed that no one mentioned The Mummy the animated series! Oh man that cartoon was so good! This was a cartoon inspired by the 90s Mummy movie with Brendan Fraiser. It was a wonderful amazing series. It truly deserves more love and attention. The important thing you need to know is that in this cartoon, the archeologist couple have a kid named Conner who gets a magical Egyptian Mancle and fights evil Egyptian villains with it! Please tell me, I’m not the only person who remembers this cartoon! Otherwise fantastic review! I hope that you all will cover Jetix someday!

21:00 After making it through the 90s and Wolverine and the X-Men with Disney+, I honestly think Evolution holds up the best. The core of the X-Men to me is surviving adversity and being a hero. The 90s might hit the hero stuff better, but I think Evolution really captured the essence of growing up as an outcast. Having the younger and older group was also really good because you could occasionally have the major threats that Wolverine, Storm, and Beast got to face.

I loved Kids WB! Man, I forgot about a few of these (Road Rovers being one of them.) I can’t imagine how long it took you guys to make this- thank you! I loved Freakazoid. I was so sad when it was cancelled. The randomness of the humor was right up my alley after years of watching Animaniacs. I’m the same age as Doug and have the same reaction to Pokémon- I was a senior in high school when it came out so I never understood the appeal. SHOOOeeeee!

I loved this review and found it hilarious. When all these guys get together you know it's going to be amazing. The only thing I will nitpick about is that I wished they had at least mentioned the show called The Legion of Superheroes. It's about a young superman who travels to the future and team's up with the group of the same name and it only had two seasons. There were plans for a third but the show was cancelled after Kids WB went off the air. But all that said this is just a minor nitpick I have, everything else in this video is funny and well made as most Nostalgia Critic reviews are. Keep up the good work.

This is a weird nostalgia trip for me because I watched Kids WB for a few years as a kid, but around the time I would have normally stopped watching Cartoons (14/15ish) I was responsible for babysitting my nephew after school until my sister go off work so I watched many of these shows with him as a teen/young adult.

I'm glad someone addressed Histeria. It was (and still is) one of my favorite cartoons from childhood. It actually made me a bit of a history buff as an adult. On another note, WHERE'S XIAOLIN SHOWDOWN?

I’m so glad you talked about Histeria! & MIB. I grew up in a French island so we obviously didn’t have WB kids. But we got those shows and if MIB left an incredible impression on me, I totally forgot about Histeria! If you ever decide to do real episodes about those shows, I’m on board!

I like that you worked in all the references to Bat May. It made perfect sense for this episode, and I don’t know if this whole thing was because there has been so much demand for additional Bat May content. It would be nice if the entire team for Channel Awesome we’re to pitch in for Bat May spinoffs covering all of these various shows in the DCAU, and maybe the other iterations of Batman.

I think The Batman has my favorite version of Bruce Wayne, not Batman, but Bruce Wayne without the cape and cowl. I just think they did a really good job of portraying Bruce as this Elon Musk type rich playboy.

@@LordSvzklxSame! Not only is the design and voice acting killer, he’s the first iteration that isn’t a joke. There’s an episode where he competes with the Joker and Penguin to unmask Batman and he’s acknowledge as a legit rival to those heavy hitters. No need to turn him into Hush or whatever, he’s a diabolical mastermind in his own right.

Men in Black the series is one of those shows I can't believe you haven't done a full episode on before. I'm also glad you had clips of Histeria because I was almost certain that ENTIRE show was a hallucination brought about by middle school stress when I was 13. I even got into an argument with a friend of mine who thought the Osmosis Jones movie was based on the Ozzy and Drix cartoon instead of the other way around back in the day (nowadays we have the anime Cells at Work for that premise.) I'm a lover of animation, and Kids WB was actually one of my favorite programming blocks, I watched ALL of these shows from when I was in the 5th grade straight on into my early 20's when the block stopped airing.
