How to make baby safety gate?

- Wood beading/boards (size depends on your doorway)
- Latch or hook-and-eye lock
- Hinges
- Screws
- Drill
- Saw
- Measuring tape
- Sandpaper
Steps to make a DIY wooden baby safety gate:
1. Measure the width and height of your doorway and cut the wood piece/boards accordingly.
2. Sand the edges and corners of the boards to smoothen them.
3. Attach the hinges to one side of the gate and the doorway. Make sure they are aligned properly and securely attached.
4. Attach the latch or hook-and-eye lock to the other side of the gate and the doorway. Again, make sure they are aligned properly and securely attached.
5. Test the gate to make sure it opens and closes smoothly and that the latch or lock works properly.
6. If needed, paint or stain the gate to match your decor.
