Dad was a drug user, no longer in my life but in the car it was always kid Cudi, I never had the chance to ask what the name of some of the songs are. I only remember day n nite, pursuit of happiness and Mr rager. Now I listen to every Cudi album daily, I wonder if I made my dad proud. Cudi is the only artist I genuinely feel a connection with, I hope to see him preform one day before he retires but I don't know if it will be possible, after all I'm just a 13 year old about to graduate to highschool.

Cudi got so much shit for trying to integrate aspects of rock into rap. I started listening to him ever since Day n Night in 7th grade. Once i heard the song, i started looking for everything hes made. I fell in love with his sound, and all my friends used to tease for listening to him. I didnt care. Then when he started introducing these rock aspects, it only made people hate on him more. Now look at rap, there are SO many rappers using rock influences be it in their music or fashion. Cudi is an innovator.

I listened to this song when I was a kid and it for some reason it encouraged me to do something great with my life, I’m 18 now and just got accepted into the Navy where I’ll train to be a firefighter to help our dying environment. Time flies still a crank ass song ‼️
