Kicking off Monterey Car Week 2023 Car Spotting
Monterey Car Week 2023 kicks off with some great car spotting! We arrive in San Jose and pick up our rental G Wagon then head down to Monterey. The next day we check out the car spotting on Ocean Ave in Carmel. This is what makes car week so awesome. You get to see some amazing cars just wandering around.

@@normalguysupercar Head over to Monte Verde and Ocean right now and you'll see 3 Pagani's and a Chiron. BTW, all the houses around here are super outdated but that's a cool find!

I'll be road tripping my 1996 Saab 9000 Aero from BC Canada into Monterey 2024 for the first time after wanting to attend for 9 years. I can't begin to tell you how excited I am for my first car week experience! Wonder if anyone will recognize the rarity of the Saab 🤣 Great video!

C10 350/400 Turbo trans when I was in the Navy... never mind they were both in the bed of the truck and I had to deploy :( so i couldn't get 'er done so I had to sell it :( lol I'd take that F50 every day all day LOL

Hi, That was once a fire engine--American LaFrance or a Seagraves (I don't recall). It's had a few configurations (mainly paint and emblems) over the last 10 years. It's been at Carmel every year I can remember. JP
5 miles drive to Monterey becomes10 miles weaving left to right in G-Wagon.

What year is the G-Wagon and what Specs? You might hate it, but that might be my dream car...Also I just saw my first Ferrari FF in the flesh yesterday...they have to be rare here in Minnesota. Ok...I so want that now...looks fantastic in real life.

That's because Bill Murry tossed it off the roof. If you don't know the reference, look in to what happened at Vesuvio during the ProAm a few years ago.
