It's nothing like some beep bass to find all the lose crap in your house. So your wife/girlfriend can make you a honey do list.🤣

You need three basic things: a psu, an amplifier and a speaker. However, for a good setup you need: a head unit substitute (im using the sub out. From a sony DA2400ES receiver.) that is basically it. The ground (in car audio) is essentially the neutral (blue) connection in a circuit, so it should be connected to the neutral (black) connection on the psu. Technically, in DC circuits, the neutral is at 0v & therefore there is no current, and therefore no power, so it is exactly the same as the ground connection in a car. (However there is voltage when the circuit is completed, as I'm sure you know!) btw my psu is at 240v coz im in the UK! :0

@KingKajoor yer i know mate.... i was going to do that in the first place... but if you look at the voltage reading... im running it @ 13.8 for a majority of the time.... and if i want the house to blow up, I have it @ 14.6v.. which u cant get out of a PSU.... + the powersupply delivers clean double switched dc power to the amp... and it looks a lot lot neater than having a half blown up computer power supply in the corner.... and it has baare fuses and protectors on it aswell....

I have two CVT 12s running off of a 100 watt home theatre system and it sounds just like that . 🙌🏾

Between those two; computer psus. Dont use batteries; they would need recharging constantly and they give off sulpher dioxide ( i think, or summin similar; cant remember now) but I know that you dont really want to be inhaling it! Really you should use a psu. U should only need a 60amp psu really - i doubt you'll ever push a full 1200w through it!

hey -- question... so apart from a 110 volt to 12 volt power converter (for the amp) what else do I need? which receiver are you using to send to the amplifier? and what is the amp grounded too? I have an S15L7 dual 2 ohm in a 5 cubic foot box. I want to put it to good use. License is suspended, so cant drive

Get a b2 audio 21 inch and and a ds18 trouble maker subwoofer that will shake the house a lot more than that kicker l7 and turn your house into a single story 1 floor house because the ceiling on the first floor would be totally obliterated leaving the second floor inaccessible

Chris Zink that underpowers it I’d recommend a car battery charger that gives out a constant 12 to 15 volts alternating power so it can power your amps smoothly
