Filmed shortly before Arriva lost the 575 to Go Ahead. The Horwich estate short workings that used to also be numbered 575 but were worked instead by First, then Di*mond and Go Ahead were sensibly numbered to 576 by TfGM
2680 is now with Arriva Buses Wales at “Chester” (actually in Hawarden, Wales despite being named after an English city)
There is a 2nd route between Wigan and Bolton that used to be with First but was sold to Stagecoach in 2013 and then won by Go Ahead in 2023, this being the 540 (now 7) via Westhoughton
This bus was working the Sapphire 575: Wigan Bus Station (Stand R) - Bolton Interchange (A) via Aspull, Blackrod and Horwich
