I have a 2016 Civic Turbo and a 3.5L Sorento. I went to Hunza on Civic and Neelum Valley on Sorento. The driving dynamics of Civic are unmatched. It's a lot of fun to drive it on curvy roads. BUT, by the time I reached Hunza, my back and shoulders were very sore. And even during the trip, I needed a lot of breaks to give my body a rest. Not to mention the Civic cannot realistically carry 3 people at the back. The 8th and 9th gen Civics can easily carry 5 people, the 10th and 11th gen rear seats don't extend all the way to the edges, so it's impossible for 3 people to sit there. On Sorento, we took 1 break, and that too only for lunch. Otherwise at no point did I feel I was getting tired or needed a break to rest. So if you often take long drives, then a crossover is a no brainer. If 99% of your driving is confined to 20-30 minute drives, then I would go with the Civic. You'll enjoy those 30 minutes a lot, just don't drive too long.

Drive both on regular basis from Sialkot to Lahore. When I m on Sportage no tiredness. But when on civic then sleeping and rest is needed

I have AWD Sportage and Personally i like sportage very comfortable very spacious and all rounder.I drove it on all type of roads mountains desert water highways motorways every where.It’s all in one.Main to Sportage hi laysan 😊

What a nice video on a question that comes up too often. I purchased a brand new civic 11 gen and now planning to alter with a sportage mainly due to reduced room for rear passengers and less luggage compartment space…… shape of the boot makes even three bags a difficult preposition

I think q k civic 1.5 turbo ha to apko iska comparison Kisi 1.5 turbo crossover k sth krna chahiye tha jaisa k proton x70 oshan x7 waghira aur especially proton x70 is very good option instead to buy a civic because of its features, engine performance fuel average, comfort in every way. Very informative! One important factor that you missed was that civic is latest gen while Sportage is not. In terms of design etc civic being latest gen would beat the Sportage. Another scenerio I want to present is a comparison between civic x RS and Sportage FWD. Both had similar prices last year. civic was much faster and way more fun to drive. Plus on motorways, sedans are more stable and grounded. Another drawback of Sportage is the brakes do not feel as effective. Anyways in my opinion, i agree with you that if you want driving get a civic, Sportage is overall the more practical car. Additionally, if your main use is motorway travel then civic would be better option.

Loved your comparisons and presently I'm driving and enjoying the drive and comfort of Sportage and loving it. While I was using Civic (various generation) from last 12 years I would say there is NO match and a Sportage is way much better option than Civic.

Its absurd that same brands are offering a 2014 product in Sportage Tuscon Corolla and some Civic and all Chinese are bang up to date. Descripincies in generating causing overlapping prices...

باقی تو آپ بہت اچھا review کرتے ہیں لیکن آج کل کی نئی گاڑیوں کا باڈی review نہیں کرتے. ایک گاڑی آپشنز سے بھری ہوتی ہے لیکن اُس کی باڈی ٹین کا ڈبہ ہوتی ہے اور ایکسیڈنٹ کی صورت میں پکوڑہ بن جاتی ہے جیسے ہونڈا سوک نئی ماڈل. کیا ائیر بیگز کی بھرمار ایکسیڈنٹ میں سواریوں کو پوری طرح بچا پاتی ہے؟ جب کہ ہم نے ہونڈا سوک کو دیکھا ہے کہ بالکل دو ٹکڑے ہوگئی. کبھی اس مسئلے پر بھی بات کیا کریں اور گاڑیوں کے review کے دوران باڈی کی مضبوطی کا حصہ بھی شامل کیا کریں. شکریہ

One aspect you missed was engine durability. The Honda engine will keep performing for 20 years while shortage will hardly last a decade

Lol its a turbocharged forced induction engine were talking about no turbo engine will be as durable or reliable as a NA engine even if its from a honda ..

Civic is based on chassis of Honda Accord which is next step to Corolla and Elantra. And it's drive shows it's maturity
