Infamous Myvi and "Lotus Iriz" 😂😂😂

I love driving the I10/Picanto. They drive a bit like a go kart, and turning the traction control adds to the fun. I did find that the manual transmission can be a bit difficult to get in to gear. Too easy to crunch and the automatic is too slow to change gear. However the car is inexpensive to buy so you can't realistically expect the gears to change fast on an auto. I have reviewed the Ioniq on my channel and that is a very good car. Hybrid engine with wireless phone charging, heated seats, heated steering wheel, which in the UK winter weather is definately needed. Loved the video guys. Keep it up.

Our version in the UK pretty much says the top speed.185km in this is all it will do, even with 87hp and not that much weight.

1. Tyre - it's got the right size, 175/65/R14 is very common size used in myvi, axia, unlike less common previous gen Picanto. Conti CC6 is known to be very quiet tyres, that may be good replacement for more comfy ride. Or if wanna upgrade to 15", 195/55/R15 is very affordable size, and has Michelin PS3. 2. Brake pedal higher is actually intentional. Volvos position it this way for a very long time, since the 240 at least. The logic is to make it much harder to accidentally press the wrong pedal. Great review. I test drove the previous gen Picanto before, and it had pretty good NVH, easily better than any cars in its class back then. I was smitten, i highly recommend Picanto too because of its refinement.

that day i rented in Socar for two hours. im really impressed by the Kia Picanto. driving it for 160 kmh for 5 min. I can say it is a damn good car. the stability of the car is really really impressive. The NVH is above average, road noise is acceptable if change to conti, bridgestone, michellin or goodyear will reduce the noise. i sure recommend to my sis who is considering a car now.

I bought this car in my country but a lot of options missing even if they say it’s the full option. Different regions, different options. I only have driver airbags, no passenger. The first thing i did was update the seats with covers because the current seems to stain quickly and the black doesn’t do well with excess sunlight. Secondly like you said, the rims are just basic so I switched that as well. The worst thing about this car is space for passengers at the back. A big inconvenience. Barely any leg room. It’s my first actual new car purchase but i’m quite satisfied so far.

driven the gt line spec the other day and i must say that i’m super impressed ! and shockingly the price is very2 good for a un-local brand . good move by kia but sadly you’re in malaysia . Myvi and the Jazz still going to be the king and queen of malaysian road !

I tried GT LINE at Maeps last week, the way the car handling , Insulation is superb in his segment . At the same time I try the new Iriz , compare with this . Iriz are way more far to achieve same goes to myvi also

Lol my gosh this is like the funniest review. But a great review nonetheless 👍

We have a 3 and a 2 spec, both automatics. The 14" wheels give the best ride, the 15" wheels are jostly and the 16" wheels are boneshakers. The variants with 16" wheels have viny seats - yuk! The power is adequate. The brakes are fierce. 38mpg with manual and 37mpg with auto.

Great car, drove it from johor to malacca to n9 to subang effortlessly.(drove flat out in north south but can't really reach 180) Absolutely love it the car's steering wheel and accurate steering the 4.6m turning circle can get you out of those tight corners.

Only Picanto segment A have 6 airbags, 4 disc brake, auto Android/apple car play and Cruise control Gtline have sunroof, 16 rims, AEB 2 year i pakai Picanto EX, gearbox only have a problems delay and jerking. Handling superb bagus baik punya...😁

Finally, been waiting for this review by my trusted reviewer but have owned this car for almost a year already (yes, it’s has been too long). I can really tell that EuJin love this car a lot despite the lousy tire fitted on this car. This is really a car that can change your perception of a Kimchi car. Lastly, the Lotus Iriz... LoL..

Updated Kia Rio next please, would like to know whether the new 6 speed auto gearbox is good or not since many complained about the previous 4 speed lacking gears.

My friend own this car... it's really great car..stable and nice to drive... eventhough the engine is 1.2cc can go until 170km/h and it's really stable at high speed... AutoBuzz help needed to review Kia Rio... thanks

Brilliant car but unfortunately Malaysian won't appreciate this little hidden gem as Korean car is "not good enough" compared to the japanese. Price wise it will never beat myvi or axia for perceived value. If this is spec with 1.0 turbo engine it is an instant purchase no doubt.

Good review Adrian. I've personally test driven all 3 makes of this segment, ie. MyVi, Iris and Picanto. Of all 3, I still prefer the Iris as it's a much better composed ride if compared to the other 2. Iriz sound proofing is also at it's best if compared to the other 2. Picanto IS pretty niffty and it's more of a design 'show off' element. Picanto's equipment is not bad compared to the rest however, only MyVI comes with autonomous braking system. If compared the 3 vehicles, I'd still choose the Iriz as it's still a fun and well composed car to drive around town. PLUS, I feel the Proton's AC is still the best! haha..

I like it when u said the young chaps are so lazy today... lolx... reality bite!

I am planning to get a Kia picanto, and have been hearing left, right and centre from ppl that Kia maintenance and parts are very expensive, and resale value is poor. Will I have to burn holes in my pockets in the future just to upkeep the car or is this just a perception that people have from Kia's older models?

Aina Mariah here’s my PERSONAL OPINION. Because the car is only 49k, there’s not much to lose to begin with. And it’s going to be a workhorse - being driven everyday and realistically you’re not gonna sell it within 1-2 years so for example if in 5 years u lose say 20k in RV, i think you wouldve still gotten your money’s worth. As for maintenance cost and parts, let’s just say good things are never cheap, even though it’s a budget car. Plus you’ll be enjoying all the benefits, like good handling and stability etc, so personally i feel it’s worth spending that bit of money. You can have good but cheap suspension, it’s impossible. Spend some time on mudah or at spare part shops to enquire the price for brake pads, absorbers etc for this car and decide if it’s worth it.

ZXC ya but you already bought the picanto right ? if you’re about to get married next year then you’re going to buy the persona la ? eventhough it’s just a year old ? the myvi is one of the most spacious and biggest b segment hatcback ( sits below jazz) which suits single guy or a family guy . iriz in the other hand is better than the picanto but still smaller than the myvi interms of space .
