eNiro 4+ owner, 18months in. I don't feel the NiroEV offers enough for me to upgrade right now - it does look great though. The eNiro just works really well for us.

Test drove the 2 model. Didn't like the small screen or the upholstery. Got a 4 instead.

Kia e-Niro was the first EV I drove back in 2019. This looks a lot more complicated, although like any vehicle I guess you soon get used to the various controls?

Personally whilst I love the new dash (not this lower spec version) the door cards and overall finish lacks the premium 'feel' of my 1st edition. If KIAhad grafted the EV6 nose onto this 2nd gen ohhh I think I might have had to change in a much shorter time but as a result I think I'll wiat for the 3rd gen 😂. Ps I'd love to see an in gear and 0 to 100 challenge of the old vs the new as hasn't kia reduced the torque on the new model? Cheers mate

I'm confused by the so called 'real world' driving figures you quoted. The Niro had done 16 miles when you got it and you said is was getting 3 miles per kwh. The range was shown as 235 miles which you indicated would improve because the 16 miles of going on and off transporters and ferries was not representative. The battery showed 95% meaning that 5% had been used. If 5% gets you 16 miles then 100% gets you 320 miles. So the 'real world' range once agains differs from the GOM's estimate based on prior use. I suspect the usual method has been used: i.e. the 'real world' range is not based on using the Eco mode that is designed to maximise your range. 'Real World' tests tend to be done in Normal Mode and almost always include driving at motorway speeds as much as possible while leaving the heating on permanently at a setting of at least 21 degrees.
