Pleasure, glad you found it useful! Interesting that you can still get the HK system in France.

I also have the Niro EV 4 with HK audio. It’s definitely disappointing. I’ve had other cars with the premium audio option which always sounded good. In the Niro I think this is what I expect from the default audio system in the lower trims.

It's a good addition, however. Indeed not as impressive as others out there nor other HK systems on the market.

Since they removed it I don't see a good enough reason to go for the top trim level. Will be ordering in the level 3

Fair enough! Can see this being the case for a few people. Make sure you get the heat pump model!

Has anyone changed out this system? I think it sounds really bad. I have a Niro hybrid, and I’m thinking of changing it out.

2023 Niro EV wave with Harmon Kardon audio. Just sounds cheap. Back door speakers are VERY low. Classic rock sounds particularly bad. A much as I try to adjust it, I’m left frustrated to the point where I’ll just listen to news radio. I also went to the dealer and tried the audio in the EV6. Same exact issue. Horrible. Id be embarrassed and remove the name plate if I were Harmon Kardon.

Getting mine delivered in 2 weeks. No one knows if it has the HK system or not

I have a Niro EV4 with the Harman Kardon; it's not that great, to be honest. It's not even close to Harman Kardon in a BMW. Disappointing.

It's better than most however. And indeed, there are different HK systems out there, for example the one found in the BMW iX3 is far superior than the one in the Kia.

For a premium set of speakers, they're pretty trash. lol
