Thanks for this. Wife started hating her ev6 because she said it doesn't get warm enough

I have bother with cold air to my feet! Got my car in Nov 21 had all the problems with the lack of heater which took a few months to sort out, but I still struggle with cold feet!!

Our 2023 EV6 Wind lost heat after 2 weeks of owning it. The vents were just blowing cold air from outside. Our local service department determined the "ac module" needed replaced. They ordered the part, and it was installed a week later. We now have heat in the car. Unrelated but worth mentioning since I'm here, the stereo system sounded really weak and I determined that the rear speakers were only playing at like 30% volume. The service department said the amp was bad, and this was a known problem. A week later we got the new amp. The stereo system now sounds like a premium audio system.

Our EV6 started having the same problem starting about a month ago. I took it to the dealer and of course the weather decided to go full blast summer on that day. The technician couldn't figure out why so he put a ticket in with Kia Corporate. They replied back "It's 80f outside, due to the ambient temperature we've determined it is working as intended" and said there's no problem. The service department said we'd have to come back when it got colder outside so they could try again. Ron Tonkin Kia in Portland Oregon.

I can't believe 1700 people viewed my torturous video that was really only here so I could easily share with the dealer. LOL. Anyway thanks for the views and likes. UPDATE AS OF FEB 2023: No solution. I've been living with the issue and haven't really been pushing the dealer. However I just called them today and they now have a 2nd car with the exact same problem. I'm going to let them have my car to play around with for a week as well - we'll see what comes of it.

Just found your video, my EV6 has the same problem but no amount of box unchecking is making the heat come on. I have verified that the battery conditioning works, but no climate at all.

mine is the same I'm in ireland but if i turn temp up to 27 it starts heating after a couple of minutes

I did many test because my car will at the dealer on 28th of january. I figured it out. I only need a fix from KIA. When I get in to the car and turn it on. The climat control is only using electrical kWh for spinning the system. No heat is coming out of the vents. The airco uses 0,00 KWh, so that’s why there is no heat. The climate System heat only up when I switch first from driver only to sync or the other way around. After this I can see that the airco is using kWh because the Numbers are countimg up. After a few minutes Thérèse het out of the vents. I hope that KIA will fix this now I can give them my informatie and can show them as well. I drive my EV since december 2022, so only 1 month. Why is this issue here, after a year the first climate controle issues exist.

I have a 2023 Kia EV6 and no heat as well. Took it to dealership in early December 2023 and they found a PTC heater connector was loose. But 3 weeks later have the same problem again and this time they say its not a problem with the PTC heater connector. They claim it will take 1-2 weeks to diagnose! And warranty doesn't cover a replacement vehicle until they diagnose what the problem is - and only if the part is on a waitlist!

Similar to Niro Ev. It seems to be unable to heat air while AC runs for defog/dehumidifying. Driver only seems to make it worse also.

thanks for your video i have the same problem the only way i can get heat is to increase it to 27 degrees, I'm from ireland have you got irish connections there's lots of people here with the same surname

I just turn on air recirculation and my EV6 starts to heat up after a couple of minutes. I never use the aircon. Where the heat goes depends on where you've directed it.

Have you tried only use AC + Heat + SYNC?

I have an Ev6 Wind tech package. I live in Wisconsin and have the same problem. Have you figured it out ? I’ve been to the dealer twice with no resolution.

Still no solution. Luckily I don't have to deal with Wisconsin winters here so I'm living with the problem. I just spoke to my dealer and they now have a second car with the exact same problem. That car has been in the shop all week and they haven't found the cause of the problem.

Same probleem here in The Netherlands. 28th of januari I Being The d’r in by The dealer for diagnose.

So, last week was my car a day at my dealer. Unfortunately there was no fix. Today another diagnose at my dealer. And still no clue, and no fix. They will contact the KIA factory thrue KIA Netherlands. I will think about what I will do. A brand new car and I’m not satisfied.

Still no fix for me. I've been living with the problem but I just called the dealer today and now they have a second car with the same issue. They've had that one in the shop all week and still don't seem to be able to find an answer.

Yes, the solutions was very simple@@kerzvers I went to a legall counsler and just before would start a lawsuit my dealer wanted to see the cart one more time. After a few minutes we discovered there was no airco gass on the system. So my car was dilevered without and that couses a view systems to by-pass the airconditioning and heating. So after 5 months without heating and airco and 4 diagnostic appointments the solution was so simples en logicall

@@kerzvers Still no fix. I took it to the dealer the other day for the latest software service actions and there is no change. Same problem. I'm reaching out to Kia Canada directly.

My ev6 is since 23.12 in dealership in poland and they have checked all and it sems to by a heater problem, they have orderet the part from KIA and we will see on 13.01 if this works

@@mfronzy im still waiting, it sems to by delivered first on end of march it is fucking disaster :/ have this car just 3 weeks and such like problem :/ then habe ordered a PTC hater

Update to anybody who is interested... Still no resolution. I'm trying to contact Kia Canada directly to see if they know of a fix or if one is in the works.
