KIA CODE P0011, P0014 CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR FIX. KIA FORTE RIO, OPTIMA, SOUL, SORENTO SPORTAGE
If you have a KIA and your engine light is on and you have code P0011, P0014 in this video we will explain how to fix any of the codes P0011 or code P0014. Code P0011 and code P0014 can be triggered by multiple causes. In some cases it takes only a few minutes to fix code P0011 and code P0014 while in other cases it may take a few hours of engine work.
The codes stand for:
P0011 'A' Camshaft Position Timing Over-Advanced Or System Performance Bank 1
P0014 'B' Camshaft Position Timing Over-Advanced Or System Performance Bank 1
This video will be very helpful if you have code P0011 or code P0014 on 3 cylinder engine and 4 cylinder engine as well. V6 engines will differ some but the cause is most likely the same.

I could be wrong but I thought a stretched chain will l retard the cam timing, should not give advanced timing

@@obujhridoy3783 I️ needed up ordering both the cam shaft intake and outtake exhaust sensors , still getting a p0017 but it hasn’t stalled since and only after it sits , when I️ start it I️ wait for the rpm to hit sub 1000 then I️ shift into drive. Going to take it to the dealer but I️ want to check the timing belt… it’s a process man

@@Evo0408 I replaced the engine with a long block reman from Kia from what a mechanic told me the camshaft will make everything go out of time because as it breaks internally and just turns.

For anybody coming across this exact issue there is an open recall if your engine is rat a rating or throws a knock sensor code the dealer just replaced my entire engine free of charge due to recall hope this helps someone

I have the same code but my mechanic said it was the timing chain did your issue resolve when you fixed it?

change your engine oil at a mechanic ....almost all mechanic doesnt wants to replace a timing chain, but if you replace the oil, it would be retard the chance to get a broken timing chain...it needs to be lubricated

Changed oil & filter, timing chain, actuators, tensioner and vvt. Still got this damn code on my 2012 elantra

top end low oil pressure can also cause this problem
I needed location ofcamshaft position sensor! Not really helpful
