For those higher trims without wireless Android Auto/Apply CarPlay, you can get around it by buying a wireless dongle.

I had read there was about 4 inches more room in the 3rd row in the Carvival than the Telluride which is what was enticing me to go that route, but seeing this now I am questioning it. Will have to go test drive them both to see if I can fit in both ;)

Bit more room but it's not as big of a difference. Curious which way you end up deciding to go!

Ordered a 2023 Carnival SX P about 2 months ago at MSRE. Typical dealer markups around here are $5K for the SX P. Should know in a few more weeks, but don't really know when.

I ordered mine with the trailer hitch.. why is the Telluride rated for 5500 lbs, whereas the Carnival is 3500? Is it weight or Drivetrain related? The 3.5 liter Carnival is a bit smaller, but the rated power is the same. Maybe Transmission? With my $500 trailer hitch, do I get an auxiliary Trans cooler which is common?

It's a mix of everything.. engine, vehicle weight, drivetrain etc. The hitch is actually just an aftermarket dealer install with Kia so there's no additional engine cooling

Yes.. SX Prestige arrived 10 weeks and at MSRE as a very early 2024 with no known changes. Noticeably the smoooothest ride car I've ever had.. at 85 MPH cruise control in OD2 at 2100 RPM. 3.5 has both GDI and Port injection.. no carbon worries. Infotainment system is beyond comparison. The cameras, the adaptive cruise with full stop and lane keeping assist. Has to be amongst the best, although Tesla has the full boat auto drive. Never a Rattle or Squeel clearly the quietest. Love this car hugely... pushing 8.5K miles.. nothing close is out there there. Highly recommended. USE 93 octane and enjoy the smoothest engine as well and 3MPG better. @@L.L

It’s not identical for the cargo the carnival as an extra 10 inches everywhere 😅

Max depth for the Carnival is about 5" difference from 2nd row back, wheelbase is 0.5" and loading area is about 6". Pretty close...

Only tesla can do the recording feature, because if other companies do it spoke with a criminal lawyer, and she said it would be against the law or whatever

It would have something to do with a patent for sure so I'm guessing it's too much of a cost to license it out

Isn’t the Carnival a van, not an SUV?

SUV inspired minivan.. it's built on the same platform as the Sorento but really has features of both
