Comprehensive review, but what's the significance of the FE figures calculated with just 1 person in a vehicle that is meant to carry 6 or 7 people plus luggage ?

For those planning on 1.4 Turbo Petrol Manual, an eye opener. There is a design flaw where there is pickup issue in first and second gear, specially when going on an incline and slotting from 1st to 2nd. It's VERY UNSAFE to drive on hilly areas. It even struggles on the ramp of car parking area. Second issue is Hill Assist, which do not disengage on pressing accelerator, but takes its own sweet time of 2/3 seconds. Kia is promising an update to fix, but who knows when. Pls do a thorough test drive on inclines, or better yet go for another brand/car.

Hi All, Please be aware that KIA Carens condensation issue still not resolved. In August month production car also this issue still persisting, so if you are going to buy Carens do your PDI properly and take the delivery and its very sure that till today delivered vehicle across all varients from Premium to Luxury Plus all Carens condensation issue not resolved. Many times existing Carens owners are reported to KIA directly and through various service centre across country. But KIA not taking any action on the same and just ignoring the complaints.. So those who are booked and waiting be aware of this condensation issue in Carens!!! Kia India #Carens #condensation

MID shows real time mileage. Overall mileage will be less than this figure. I have KIA carens Diesel manual, and getting above 23 kmpl.

Yes Carens diesel is mileage machine, I drive it on highways with cruise control at 85 and MID shows 24+kmpl :)

What about dpf regeneration issues, check engine malfunction light

Led fog lights are useless. Yellow is a must for bad weather. And high beam is too bad in all Kia cars except Carnival

40 Ltr × 19kmpl =760 kms. You can easily cover 760 kms by full tank diesel.also 5 ltr reserve.

Gadi badhiya hai magar front design appealing nahi hai, seltos jaisa hona chahiye tha

Considering this car's weight and engine mileage is not good. If it was more people in the car mileage would have been lesser. It's a diesel car it should have given more mileage.

@@GaadiWaadiDotCom sabko pata hai ki petrol car 1 litre mein 14 se jyada aur diesel 20 se jyada kabhi nahi degi, fir bhi sab poochte hai, chahe 1 sawari ho ya 5 fuel car poora hi leti hai, jo log ye kehte hai ki full sawari mein itni milege vo single mein bhi vahi milega, car ka engine koi electricity generator nahi ki jyada hylogen jalai toh diesel jyada lag gaya.

Tank has an air pocket....You can easily fill 4 ltrs more than capacity.But it is not safe, company is not recomending this.1st cut off is the right level.
