Khaung Daing - Snack Village in Myanmar

Village Khaung Daing (also called Tofu Village) at Inle Lake produces 22 different snacks, mostly from chickpea flour, cane sugar and rice - these manufacturies have been in operation for more than 100 years.
Many of the products contain Burmese Tofu which is made from chickpea flour, unlike regular Chinese Tofu which is made from soy beans.

But I have to admit that as a quality inspector/technician in the food production industry here in the USA, I was shuddering seeing the lack of cleanliness and pest control when drying the products out in the open with animals and traffic around.
