During the same period, however, they expanded westward. By the second half of the 8th century, their empire had reached the peak of its power-it extended along the northern shore of the Black Sea from the lower Volga and the Caspian Sea in the east to the Dnieper River in the west. The Khazars controlled and exacted tribute from the Alani and other northern Caucasian peoples (dwelling between the mountains and the Kuban River); from the Magyars (Hungarians) inhabiting the area around the Donets River; from the Goths; and from the Greek colonies on the Crimean Peninsula. The Volga Bulgars and numerous Slavic tribes also recognized the Khazars as their overlords.

In the eighth century the Khazars subjugated the Slavic tribes living near the steppe . This fact opened for these Slavic groups trade routes to Black Sea and Caspian markets .

The Khazars were as powerful as the Byzantine Empire, which they befriended in the 10th century and who wanted to use them as allies in the struggle against the equally powerful Arabs of the Muslim Caliphate. Khazaria lasted for about five hundred years. It is believed that without the Khazars, Europe (or at least a sizable part of that continent) would have been completely Islamic. Arthur Koestler says in The Thirteenth Tribe: “As Charles Martel's France saved Gaul and Western Europe, so the Khazars saved the eastern approaches to the Volga, the Danube, and the East Roman Empire Itself.” (P. 30).

"Khazars established their empire in the seventh century centered on Etil on the Volga River from the 630 s on, which contained Bulgars, Hungarians, Slavs, Alans, and later Jews and a large number of other ethnicities, and dominated territories from the Kama River to the Caucasian Mountains, from the Urals to the Dnieper River. They fought heavily with the Arabs led by Marvan, for example, in the years 736 and 737 , but regained their power in spite of their defeat and temporary Islamization. They encouraged the Varangians who traveled along the rivers to attack the Arab borderland, until the year 913 when they destroyed the Varangian fleet and refused them permission to enter Khazar territory. The dual structure of their kingship influenced the warfare, as the army was led by the hakan-bek and not the sacral leader. The army was divided into units of ten thousand, the so-called tumen s, a permanent Persian-type heavy cavalry; the light cavalry was recruited from the common people.

Based on this information and some historians. Hazars = some Hazaras Turks in Afghanistan. The Beg rules each Tribes and the commander of hazar’s by the name of chopan is one hazara group still called the Dye. Chopan. The could have moved east on the Silk Road to Bamyan another strategic hub of trade where south east asia India, east asia china and west Iran were connecting! And Hazaras like Azeries converted to Shia islam and some Sunni islam all called Azra or Hazara! As there is no kh خ sound in Turkic language to be called Khazars.

Khazars were Urban settlers, they claimed to be descendants of Balanjar one of Noakh's grand sons and had been in Qafqaz since oldest times. Also Judaism was present among them since its first days. Sassanid were not Persians since they spoke Pahlavi languages not Persian and they never passed modern Hamedan. Ashkenaz was the earlier name of Caucus as mentioned in Assyrian Tablets since the Ashkuz tribes were living there. Khazars were a branch of Ashkuz. Greece pronunciation for Ashkuz is Scyth. Oxurum means "i am reading"

Togarma's offsprings relating phonetically to Tokharians (indo-europeans) wich are considered by the Turks as turcic people. You are wrong, Sassanians are real Persians from Yazd and not be switched with Parthians who have been a type of Scythians. Pahlavi was the language of the latter, still used in Sassanians time.

Only a small percentage of Khazars converted to Judaism, there was also Christmas and Muslims, as required by the Khazars Judicial system. Which required seven Judges, 2 Jews 2 Christians 2 Muslims, and a pagan.most of the Jews in Khazaria were actual Jews, from other Lands. After the breakup of Khazaria, the Jews were part of the Jewish communities, the Catholics Identified as Hungarians The Orthodox Christians as Russians, and the Muslims as Turks.

Did you ever think that they were the seven ekklesia in Revelation? The seven settlements in eastern Turkey would have migrated out of Asia Minor. They left Judea because the Messiah warned them to get out before the Roman invasion from 67-74 AD. These ekklesia were the remnant of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin, as all of Judea was conquered, the people killed or taken into captivity. The Khazars seem to me to be the real Jews. Now we see Russia occupying the land in Ukraine that was once the Khazarian kingdom. It’s important to remember that the Ukrainian Nazis have been targeting these people. Zelensky being a fake Jew, wants these people under his authority, however the Russians realize this and have annexed those territories.

Read Schechter Letter, it tells about the migration into Khazars. Read the revelation which the Lord gave unto Obadiah. What you know as Ashkenazi “Jews” have Edomite origins. Edom is mentioned in the Bible, and they returned and invaded the entire world. So called “French” revolution, Wilhelm of Orange’s invasion of England, establishment of Federal Reserve in USA, the Marxism was their product.
