he barely tried, quit as soon as it got tough. probably moaned and graoned in front of doctors to try to get them to tell dana he cant fight. He cut to 170 against burns, thats when his body was nearly shutting down. 10 lbs higher is not going to cause that

So the news came in, that Khamzat tried to cut weight, but it was a bad weight cut. His body started cramping and twitching. The UFC sent the UFC doctor to check-up on him and advise. The UFC doctor advised Khamzat's team to not let him cut any more water weight, as it could lead to life-threatening conditions. That is why Khamzat missed weight. He was cutting from 85kg, which is 187 pounds. Got it down to 178, and his body gave in.

Dana threw UFC HOFamer against a up and coming WOLF he had to re think this before all hell broke lose after the fight. HE can easily cut that weight with the SPA BAG, it drains 1lb of water per hour. he had 7 hours before weight ins and they stopped him around 3-4am Friday morning. So All the evidences point that Dana needed to restructure this card for the fans. In hindsight he saved this card from being one sided and we get to see some interesting fights play out.

Holland is extremely likable, He knows this ain't the best match up for him but that won't stop him from putting on a show

Khamzat certainly has the best chance but we now know that he can make mistakes and get caught up in the moment, losing focus. I think this is the first time Khamzat will be fighting someone his own size, so it will be interesting to see how he handles it.

You have a different take on it than me. I like it tho. I felt more like, the pieces just fit together so we'll, tony vs Nate is SUCH a good fight imo. Leech vs d rod is competitive and they are both decent names at this point for the fans that don't miss a UFC card. Cumshot vs Kevin seems much more competitive. I feel like the UFC got us all emotionally invested in what we thought was going to be a brutal slaughter for two OGs that deserve respect. Instead we get an INSANE match up that I never even though of, and the rest of the card just makes alot more sense. Also the fact that the UFC doctor allegedly stopped khamzats weight cut, makes me think the UFC orchestrated this. They realized this was the move to make.

Nate already beat Chimeav mentally. He buckled long ago and sat at that weight intentionally to get out of it. Look how fkin happy he looks facing Holland. Everyone liked this guy a couple days ago. In as fast as it takes to be announced off weight, fans turn on him. He also sounds unsure of himself a little on the mic for the first time in my memory. On the flip side of things I hear Kevin Holland say "Thanks for making me rich kid." Makes me think win or lose he don't care at all. Being outcome independent is a very impactful difference.
