I'm on team Khamzat but I hope he worked on his strength training, throwing around welterweights is one thing but Paulo is a completely different sized human being. He may compete at Middleweight but when he appears on fight night he will be walking around heavyweight kinda weight.

Discipline isn't his issue imo dude trains so dam hard that he almost killed himself getting Covid twice and wouldn't stop training where he had to be hospitalized both times smh reason he hasn't been active isn't due to him not wanting to fight but it's cause no one in the top 5 wants to fight the guy at all and until the beef with Costa started no one was gonna fight him lol

I was an awe that Cumzat almost lost to a lightweight. (Even Joe Rogan thought Gilbert won). Your hero is a weight bully, is inactive, and dodges fights. Rakhmonov is actually legit - he's active, has a complete skillset, and doesn't have to bicker like a Twitter hoe to get attention, oh and he fights at 170, a weight that nobody wants to fight Cumzat at since he will just back out again.

Now I know haters are going to say "hE HaD OnLY 3 TiTlE DeFeNSeS AnD OnLy FoUgHt 3 GoOd OpPonEnTS" He would come 8th to 19th in terms of pure title defences which is already insane, but the ufc isn't only about title defences, it is about your overall career, Khabib fought 9 decent opponents in the ufc, not 3, 9. Outside the UFC I have only watched one fight in which he beat the Heavyweight combat sambo world champion (and the best grapper) as a lightweight. So ain't no way the rumours of his early career being padded is true. Another thing they say is that he retired to early. Ok then, GSP has lesser fights than khabib so he also retired to early to have a complete career.

Well let's just eliminate 170 since he will never reliably make that weight again. At 185? Everyone in the top 10 is a tough fight since they are actually the same size. The top 5 of 85 is pretty solid right now: Strickland, Izzy, Dricus, Knuckles, Cannonier? I don't see him ragdolling any of these guys.

Ara abrahamian, had lots of success in the olympics. He became sort of goated when the ref's fucked him over causing him to get 3rd place. He ended up refusing to take the bronze medal saying, i did not come here to get bronze, and just left it there. For a country of 9-10 million people, Sweden has had quite alot of succesful elite wrestlers. Not all swedish national champions are olympic medalists obviously, but my point is that being a swedish national champion is no worse than being russian or cuban national champion in wrestling, specially these days when there is no one single dominant nation. Its mostlly easter blockers still, but its more varied with some iran in there as well and others.
