All his novels are unparalleled and beautiful portray the Afghan community, in the novel " And the mountains echoed " which I am reading again I found the character of the little sister "Pari" particularly touching.I have read his other two novels, which I found profound and in depth. I hope the Afghan people again enjoy their past glory as well as peace which the Russian invasion and now because of the Taliban they have lost. What with the Taliban only interested in blowing up the huge monolithic Buddha statues.
I really like the book !
fantastic book I have it. he talks about my village proud? no! in a bad but true. love his books
