We invite you to visit our new facility - a three-room apartment with an area of ​​85 m2, where Alter Air engineers designed and implemented an air supply and exhaust ventilation system with heat and moisture recovery. We also implemented laying of communications (freon pipelines and drainage systems) for future air conditioners.

We conditionally divided the combined kitchen-living room into supply and exhaust zones: fresh air enters the relaxation area by the window through a black supply ceiling diffuser. Also, a wall-mounted air conditioner will be placed near the window; at the moment, a bookmark has been made under it.
Above the kitchen surface, we laid an air duct with a diameter of 150 mm under the exhaust system (kitchen hood). An exhaust diffuser is located nearby, which also draws exhaust air from the entire kitchen area.
We placed the exhaust and intake grates on the loggia under the window (developer's requirement), and the air ducts leading to them from the ventilation unit were hidden in the ceiling space and the ledge of the wall (column) at the entrance to the loggia. The air ducts go down to the grilles just under the window - for this we sewed them into drywall below - and from the outside you see a small step that fits well into the interior.
This option for placing the air ducts was suggested by the interior designer and he satisfied both us and the customer.
The ventilation unit from the German manufacturer MAICO WS is located in the laundry room. This is a modern energy-saving equipment equipped with a highly efficient heat exchanger that transfers not only heat, but also moisture (60%) to the supply air. Thanks to this, we maintain a balance of heat and moisture in the premises.
The unit itself is placed on a special frame with vibration support, which muffles unwanted noise and vibration during its operation.
In the upper part of the unit there are 4 air ducts with silencers - 2 for supply and 2 for air exhaust. Belimo servomotors are placed on two air ducts, which open and close the air damper when the unit is turned on and off, respectively.
Also in the laundry room is a horizontal mounted boiler and a 40 cm exhaust diffuser that draws humid air from this area.
Thus, we organized effective air ventilation in a small apartment.
