The KFC Scholarship is an RM2.1 million initiative aimed at empowering over 30 qualified students from underprivileged B40 communities in Malaysia to pursue their undergraduate degree at any one of the 20 public universities in Malaysia. Put into perspective, this is only about 10 per demt of the RM20 million the government is spending on 600 Palestinian students in public universities. A further 200 Palestinian students are enrolled in various private universities in the country.
