A small suggestion: varun sir try to carry some small gifts such as replica of some indian monuments or books signed by you from India so that you can gift them to your hosts or the one who has helped you on the trips so oneday if you return to the same place they can remember you if it happens

Couple of advices from my side - 1) When it comes to food don't get too cheap. Cheap foods contain lot of processed stuff and preservatives which may not be good for health. 2) Unless you are non-veg, make sure the cheese you are eating is vegetarian. By default the cheese available in western countries are non-veg as they contain "rennet".

I don't know if you will see this. in regards to dumpster diving, so people make a living off of dumpster diving. whether it is unused food or items that are thrown away. Here in America you can also go to pawn stores and if you have anything of value they may buy from you. although it may not be as much as you hope, it can a good alternative if you are low on cash. most of the time they will pay in cash. though not everything will be worth any money. especially if they an't resell the item. after all that is what they do. Buy Sell and Trade. Some places actually lend money with collateral. You can also consider buying a small hot plate that you can plug up and make soup or hot beverages. rest areas may have electrical outlets you can use.

With India developing a huge middle class, and with disposable income, they are ready to explore the world. You do not want Indians to develop the very bad reputation of mainland Chinese travelers, who behave badly and are the most hated in the world. If one Indian acts badly, people think that's how all Indians act, and that's a reputation that's very hard to reverse.

Aap agar 6 AM ko Walmart ko jayein, to bahut sa paka hua khana like breads, muffins, etc. FREE mil jata hai... kyon ki unki expiration date hoti hai jab khana bahut sahi hota hai, par legal necessity ki wjah se stores ko phenkni padti hain. Walmart unhein special racks mein rakh deta hai free ya bahut low prices mein. Aor ek chain of stores hai 99cents stores. Wahain se hum dollar store ki tarah hi doodh, fresh phal aur sabziyan, good quality ice creams, cakes, si=ometimes even designer cosmetics bhi dollar mein mil jaatey hain, & none of them are close to expiration dates
