back in 2019 I took my daughter to Edward Knight Pier....what a great place to view the waters. It's the next beach south of where you are. Nice beach area too with parking right on the beach.

Ray, yes I passed it as well. The beach with the volleyball court is called Higgs Beach, very nice also.

I remember this beach it’s really beautiful

Smathers beach is very gorgeous. Florida keys is gorgeous

Great video. I just stayed at 1800 Atlantic, the condos by the beach. Amazing. One of the bathrooms in the condos has a jacuzzi the size of a small bedroom. Wild. ❤️ Any accommodation in key west is cool. Been there many times, all kinds of stays, too.

Nice beach..looks nicer than it was in 80s..I usually go to truman annex park

For most "beach" destinations the beach is right in your face. in Key West you have to look for the beaches. But you show the beaches that you will find in the Keys are very nice.

You meet the most interesting people, Terry. Tye...or Tie? Shaving coconut 's. Voodoo... Interesting. (Sarcasm...very interesting )

Next time we plan on flying to Miami and driving back to Key West. Hopefully next year, Lord willing.

Crazy how this is continental USA. It looks like any tropical paradise SE Asia, Carribean or Maldives. So many unknown beaches down in Florida people never heard of!

I met Ty today. He made one of those coconuts for me. I enjoyed our visit.

I just got home from there and it was full of smelly sargassum. Fort Zach was better but rocky. The water down there is absolutely gorgeous and clear though.

Todd is cool guy.

Smathers Beach is great, try Ft Zachary State Park Beach, it is awesome and more natural.

A Hockey rink in Key West? Terry, I had season tickets to the Rangers back in the late 70's early 80's!!! Lost so many great photos somehow! (Sorry if you are an Islander fan! LOL).....❤ 🤗 TY was a true gem!!!

I"m following your lead! got a tent site at Boyd's and planning to ride my Rattan electric bike to old town... where did you park the bike safely during FF? how long did the ride take from boyd's to old town?

Good for you! The ride by ebike isnt bad at all. Trust me, I did that ride on roller blades first year I went! Once you get into town youll see you can chain up to just about any pole on the street theres plenty just get a bit away from the crowds near Sloppy Joes. See you there!

voodoo is definitely dangerous. stay far away from that! but the beach is beautiful 😀
