Where the LOCALS eat in Key West (Avoid the tourist traps!)
Key West. Some go to party. Some go to see historical locations. I go to eat. Food is the game and Key West is the place. But, where do you eat at? What restaurants are good? There's so many choices and so little time. What you DONT want is a tourist trap restaurant. Finding the local eats is always the best choice. Key West is a huge tourist destination, so how do you know what's a tourist restaurant and what's a local spot? Well, come with me and I'll show you what I found! I go to where the locals eat in Key West!

Great video! Thanks for all the great info. Heading there Oct 2025 and learning as much as I can starting now. You guys are so funny!!!
Yes. Bro this video had me seconds from telling Logan we're going to key west NOW!!
Oh yeah, next time your at the Conch Shack get the fresh cracked conch salad. They do the Caribbean justice with this small but mighty masterpiece. My wife and I just went and had a bowl there last week. Sublime and delicious; like a conch ceviche.

Glad I could help out. Never sleep on the street food! Every vacation I’ve gone on, the street food wins every time! Have fun while you’re down there. It’s a lot to take in!

It was so good. Nothing like that where I live. When I go back to Key West in November, Wasacaca is the first place I’m going!
El Siboney on Stock Island is great for authentic Cuban food. The Docks on Stock has some good offerings as well as a great burger.

So, the day before we went here to eat, we were just driving around on Stock island and I saw this place. It was closed and I didn’t know if it was a restaurant or store or what. I looked it up online and we decided that we had to try it. Just biased on location and the outside appearance of the building. I found that usually when a restaurant is in a non tourist location and looks a little outdated on the outside, it’s a awesome place with great food. And El Siboney did not disappoint!
Ill be ther next week. Im excited

Kim’s Kuban is at the end of the video. What’s smoothie shuttle? I’m going back in November and want to try new places.
There is an El Siboney on Catherine Street, in Key West, too. 😂
You guys are too funny.
Conch fritters are straight from heaven.

The hogfish is not even in the snapper family. Hogfish are from the wrasse family.

I'm thinking about a road trip to KW next month, but don't know where to stay. May I ask where you stayed? Can't afford anything too expensive.

Havana Cabana. I’m not sure how much it was, because my brother paid for the room, but I think it was a cheaper option than the usual on KW. It was a pretty awesome hotel and I’d stay there again anytime. The pool was fantastic.

@@daddydelicious Thanks. I'll check it out. Whenever we travel, we try and find the restaurants that are off the beaten path because they are always better than the tourist traps. We call them the "local hole-in-the-wall" restaurants. In our home neighborhood we have great food trucks that park in gas stations and they have great food.
You're in a tourist trap, the prices are what they are. I live in the Hamptons and do not eat downtown.... $35 pizza. Don't like the prices, eat in miami. You look like TOURISTS !
