Wonderful video, brother. I also think there is more than technique what a good teacher makes a good teacher. There is so much more than solely technique to be transmitted. Of course in the end it is always up to the student's utsuwa, what to make of the gift the teacher gives us. I remember one of the second class ever I went to one of Hatsumi Sensei's class. He said that the seeds have been planted. It depends now on us what to make of it. I may be too idealistic here, but I hope for a future of the Bujinkan with honest people, who put their heart into cultivating and preserving this wonderful art Hatsumi Sensei has given us. Free of ego, free of politics, free of personal agenda and free of people intending to establish dojo empires. The last two videos of this channel help me a bit with great input to work on some issues I currently go through. Thanks again, Paul.

There is also bad people that have seen the bad side of life and become good and others who have had too good a life and become bad. Great words and can totally relate from my experience in bujinkan. Met some really great teachers and also some really nasty bad ones. Love watching your videos from here in new zealand. All the best.

It makes me a little sad to know, that the world in general isn´t so positive. Hatsumi-sensei should be turned back to young with the knowledge, skill and wisdom he has now. Maybe a silly thought, but this man has done so much for his art, that one can feel a little sad thinking what might become of this ninpo-society worldwide that he has created. I hope it survives despite of all the evil in the world.

Soke is the example.

If the most important thing is to train with a good instructor, why are so many bad instructors promoted to a rank that translates into English as "Great Instructor"? Why are rapists, wifebeaters, and other bad people promoted to daishihan? How are new people to know a good instructor from a bad instructor? How are kids supposed to know who a good or bad instructor is?

Life skills aren't a technique. You don't go to an MMA gym or a dojo to learn Life Skills, but to learn to knock someone out. Nobody cares about all that. You fail to realize there are Bad teachers in the Bujinkan. Hatsumi insist to learn from good people, but he allows Bad people to stay within his organization become instructors and teach students. It's all Hypocrisy. Lol
