One of the excellent editorial seen thus far. It's very vast subject to understand. But Devdutt is one of the best speaker.

Absolutely, it's happening all over . Whenever religion is used for political benefits bound to keep out spirituality. Every religion has beautiful things, kindly do whatever you like but for God shake don't spread hate.

Indian muslims and Christian's are originally Indian Hindus by birth and the foreign preachers converted them by force or by providing with cash and kind.so indian non Hindus cannot reject or traditions of Hinduism Hinduism is not a religion but a way of life. There is no founder of Hinduism.

@@rajannair6020 according to some sociologists, today's dalits are not considered hindus. And then hindus are real minorities here in India. The way of life is undefined in any of the texts.

@@rajannair6020 there is no such thing as hinduism. politically its a grouping of non-muslims, non-christians and named so by the british. if raja ram mohan roy was the other '1st' to use this name , so be it. this 'way of life' is not uniform - each of the thousands of groups had their own ways and scriptures or just folk songs and worshipped nature - doesnt matter. as for conversion, besides the sword and the bible and bribes, lot of people persecuted by the caste system also converted to these besides buddhism.

Devdutt Patnayak is really a brilliant person. He beautifully grilled the terminologies used in religion, politics, etc.

I never usually 'like' a video, but this one deserves a big thumbs up.

Sujit ji brings out the true difference in Hinduism, hidutva and what governance ought not to do through Dev Dutt ji....kudos

Devdutta Pattanayak really is a legendary person. His knowledge is unparalleled.

Mr. Patnaik is an absolute pleasure to listen to. He holds the knowledge and so is eloquent in his expression of insights and concepts.

Beautifully explained, this is something I believed n have told people around, and atlas I as I believed how will u get Laxmi without Saraswati, knowledge is must.

This is tremendously vast subject - it needs continuous episodes to enlighten all.

Great introduction to Mr.Devdutt. Will read his books. It is interesting that RSS-BJP share economic ideas of communism. Ultimately, there are two axis of freedom- Social and Economic. The present regime doesn't give the people both. Neither we have Social nor Economic freedom. Politicians are experts at repeating mistakes. They don't realise that Freedom brings Lakshmi. Command and Control drive Lakshmi away. One cannot even romance a girl with control - she will run away - unless she is sick.

You see that there is a planned time schedule. Present puja is for Bihar elections. The work will take according to them three and a half years. Deducting a few months like monsoon months where no work is possible the completion would be just in time for the 2024 general elections. They are on a tight schedule and people starving or suffering in some other way are the least of their problems. They have a clear focussed agenda.

Devdutt has bravely shed light on islamic bigotry in previous videos. Very knowledgable man indeed.

I don’t agree that nehru had disdain for indian culture, nehru spoke of bharat mata which is not India but Indian people... in discovery of India, he shows high degree of appreciation of indian culture, history and its rich syncretic tradition 😍 -in rbi office, he got huge statues of yakshi and yaksha, shows his respect of indian culture -national museum was made during his lifetime shows his deep sensitivity for culture -his admiration for Ashoka was ultimately his appreciation for India and heritage -he was a great practitioner of yoga, though never did publicity like today’s supreme leader
