Gabriel was by far my favourite dancer in Maddy's Blond Ambition tour. Watching TRUTH OR DARE (titled IN BED WITH MADONNA here in Australia), he was the most humble and gorgeous out of all the guys. Never boisterous or showy, he had the most endearing quality about him and an absolutely beautiful puppy dog face. So cute! I always just wanted to squeeze him! I had no idea that he was gone until literally an hour ago when I watched an online tribute to male entertainers the world has lost to AIDS. I'm devastated by Gabriel's passing. May he Rest In Peace. I'm sure he's keeping them all entertained up in Dancer Heaven, Vogue-ing on a golden cloud!! Farewell, beautiful man. 😢

So so sad, am crying now as I had no idea Gabriel had passed away. He was one of my favourite of the Blond ambition dancers, so beautiful and I had a massive crush on him at a time when I was really struggling to get to grips with my sexuality. Feeling bad that I only just found out. Great dancer greatly missed x

An incredibly talented, beautiful young man. Many years have passed since I had the pleasure of seeing his sheer brilliance on stage in London when he was touring with Madonna. Although it has been over 15 years since Gabriel passed away, he will always be remembered; not only for being an exceptionally talented performer but as the beautiful young man who was taken before his time from all his loving family and friends. Dance with those angles Gabriel, keep on dancing...

Just started looking things up after watching a press interview for the new movie Strike A Pose and ran across this Q & A. This brought tears to my eyes, : (.

I used to run into you both at the Mayan and maybe Arena in 1990. Was sad to learn of his passing. Found out a year or two ago. I guess 2 decades ago seems like another lifetime. A good friend of mine from that time also passed away a decade ago. It's sad how many talented and beautiful people AIDS took from us and our lifetime. Be healthy and strong.

I had the honor to talking to Gabriel back in '93 can't say where I got the number but never shared it. And told him he was talented and just loved him. I didn't tell him I had a crush on him, wish I did.

I would count it as a blessing if you were my friend. You seem to be very kind and very caring. There isn't a day that I don't wish that there were more people like you in the world.

I knew about it a few years after, and I got surprised. Really touching video, Kevin. I´d also like to add that I´m glad of your success, congratulations.

I was just re watching (for the 11 or so time..I am 46 so was lucky enough to see the documentary/ movie twice when it was in theatres way back when) The Blond Ambition tour and decided to start Googling the dancers of the show to find out where they are now..my first dancer I decided to check out was Gabriel, how heartbroken I am to find that he passed away...so freakin sad and so young and talented... I am super sad right now (at 4:34 am here in Montreal).. Kirk..Montreal, Canada

i was born in 2001, long after the tour but i always loved madonna. i just watched the documentary today. i hope you’re doing well, you guys were all so young and full of dreams just the way i am now. i’m sorry to hear that gabriel passed away, we have the same name, he was so handsome, i’d definitely fall for him if i was on that tour with you guys lol and you were the second most handsome after him… you aged like wine too. 😂❤

Your beautiful. Sorry for double commenting again. But I live by the words "Siempre Bella" meaing Forever Beautiful. I literally have it tattooed over my heart with a white rose above it. Beauty is something that can last forever. It people like you who make this world a lot easier to live in and I thank you for that.

I always wanted to be part of something so wonderful I am a dancer I am from a small town called saltillo coahuila of mexico I have a deep admiration for your talent kevin and oliver gabriel and dancers and all of that wonderful show me miss that dream many times and say that if you can achieve what you want to reach me greetings hope your part would be very significant for my hope to be as good as you some day and feel that I can get to heaven I send many greetings from a guy dancer from a distant corner of mexico
