I agree but an important clarification if I may. All of the cases in the US were civil litigation. All but one collapsed when the plaintiff recanted or failed to appear. The one case that went to trial was Rapp vs Spacey. It was thrown out of court because the plaintiff was shown to be in a different state at the time of the alleged SA. With respect to the criminal trial in the UK, the prosecution case was a disaster. In legal circles, there is astonishment that the CPS took the case to trial, and that the judge didn’t dismiss the case before the trial started. Like so many of these celebrity SA cases, there is huge political pressure to prosecute. The CPS in the UK should be admonished and be subject to litigation for malicious prosecution. None of this means Spacey is a saint or hasn’t hit on multiple young gay guys.

Anyone's going to say that about someone who is an actor. There's a longer interview with him where he's a lot more in detail and raw than this. It doesn't matter if he's a good person. There's many bad people who are working in Hollywood. It matters if he committed a crime or not as the many he was accused of doing that NOW appear to not be true.

I would have much rather heard him say that he was a narcissist, an alcoholic, a drug user, lost in excess and the vail of Hollywood elitism. I would be more open minded if he said that he needed help and couldn’t see. I didn’t hear that sadly. My take always are: 1. Victim mentality, 2. Lost his wealth, 3. Could you blame him for feeling like a victim in that way and being full cancelled for something that did not happen? For all I know he's a total jerk in real life but anyone would be if they had some a public humiliation that didn't actually happen. He is psychologically literate enough to know how to skirt certain signs of narcissism though he still fails. “Whats the worst part of this?” “Everything that caused me harm”. He doesn’t deny he hurt people. He just claims he didn’t go to illegal lengths. But he doesn’t feel bad about the people he hurt? That his skeezy actions are what came back to hurt his family? Thats his fucking fault. And he only showed signs of empathy. Shoehorned story about someone ELSE being a bigger jerk (his brother) and cried for his mom. Mmmkay buddy. I still had a touch of benefit of the doubt. It’s completely gone. Im sorry to people who are able to be fooled by people like this. I didn't actually hear him deflect or defend his behavior. He just accepted that he did what he did, which I understand was groping and behaving inappropriately with young men. He was found not liable for sexual assault, sexual battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, so I can understand why he wants to put the record straight as to what he did and did not do, which many seem to be confused about. I hear your personal pain and respect that, but maybe it's healthy to remember, even if this is challenging and painful, that abusers are not only abusers but also people with feelings and rights. If we start looking at some people as monsters only, which most people are not, we become morally compromised ourselves in not seeing them as real, complex people. Having said that, I totally understand if you could never trust somebody who has committed egregious abuse.

This totally failed at trial and he was totally cleared. It simply didn’t stack up and no evidence of anything could be proven. The only real wrongdoing is the socially engineered hit job by the left. This is why it’s becoming increasingly difficult to support liberalism when it’s became such a dirty and corrupt ideology. The motto has become “anything to win” and they’ve proven that time again using various methods and ploys. From politics to Hollywood and beyond. There’s just no legitimacy anymore and I’d be embarrassed calling myself a liberal today.

There is NO DIRECT EVIDENCE that he did ANYTHING that he was accused of. Just because someone accuses another person of something does NOT mean that it's true. What a bunch of bull! Kevin Spacey has been found INNOCENT of these charges multiple times, in both the US and Great Britain. Yet his accusers make money by going on TV and LYING continuously and lacking any evidence whatsoever.

Truth is this Kevin is or was sort of a monster He got a taste of what being famous offered him, an endless variety of young eager men to take advantage of and advance on. Were this men innocent? Not really. But Kevin clearly had it had little self control and knew his behavior was morally off but didn’t care. Is this criminal, prob not. Is he still a major creep for constantly grabbing young interns private parts and exposing his own often to them? It’s a sickness at the very least. Buyer beware. This is why Hollywood will never get better or music probably cause of this gatekeeper scenario some seem to be saying “it’s just the way it is” Bs, screw Kevin and those that support his behavior legal or not. He is and was a serious predator, even if only numerous sexual advances, he knew his position would allow him to carry on like that. And now he’s admitting it openly, but hoping that it was never technically illegal that everyone will be like “oh ok, he didn’t actually break the law” Dear God is that the threshold for society now? That we just skirt close to illegal activity but just far enough away?

"who do you blame?" "Fear" That answer sounds spot on. One example is "fear of coming to work and end up in a sexual assault situation" I love Spacey's acting and grew up adoring him. But I find it very likely that he's indeed guilty of many of the accusations against him. We know it's very difficult and sometimes impossible to prove these crimes beyond doubt. We have start speaking up against predator behavior as a collective. This could've been stopped long ago and then Kevin could've started to acknowledge his behavior and start working on it. Improving this side of him. He's not a monster and he isn't evil, no one is. But it looks very likely that he's done some very bad things that hurt a lot of people.
