If watching movies is what destroys someone's family that persons family was already on the downward slide. Movies and Hollywood are a business that cover all types of markets. What Kevin seems to be implying is that Hollywood isn't putting out faith based films because they are anti religious. Hollywood itself may be anti religious but that isn't the reason they aren't putting those movies out. They aren't making that many faith based films today because honestly most of those movies are genaric in plot and lack creativity and most of the time only cater to a smaller audience. That's why so many of those types of films go direct to dvd or cable because normally the audience isn't big enough to always justify a theatrical release. Most people in America are religious in general and believe in some form of higher power but most average religious people don't really care about genaric faith based films because they are normally not very quailty written. You get some good or great ones now and then but most are bad. If Hollywood thought there was a huge market for these movies they would make them more often. They are a business and all they go by is the bottom line in the end. That's why it's important for each individual to go out and support movies they want to see because that is what sends the message about what Hollywood should make.
