@@debbierushing723 You can erase it. Go into settings to download all your pics, and set it to terminate your profile permanently. KZread probably has a step by step video. I did it last year. Best decision I made last year. Lots of drama instantly gone. Good luck

@@debbierushing723 go into the general settings and choose the option to delete the account. It will ask you if you want to deactivate or delete, deactivating just puts it into a kind of sleep mode and if you log in it reactivates the account, if you delete it, its gone for good. The problem though is that Facebook is affiliated with Google and other big tech companies. So even if you delete your account, your information is with them permanently. The biggest thing you can do is keep your kids away from accounts with big tech corporations. No Google accounts, no Facebook, KZread, etc. After you've put yourself in their systems its very difficult to get out. If you have a phone number associated with any of them, they can track your web moves even if you get a new phone.

Exactly!!! That is the KEY FACTOR in all of these banned accounts. I'm not in that "boycott" camp but it is nothing more than common sense that supporting a social media enterprise by remaining a member, you ARE financially supporting them merely by your presence. They make their money from the number of subscribers/accounts. "Your message will reach billions of people worldwide if you advertise with us!" FB will retain most of Kevin's subscribers although a few might denounce membership. So, in essence FB (and other social media outlets) are saying "We got most of you hooked on our drug. Why should we care?" Common sense.

Communication is not a luxury. FB has replaced nearly all forms of discourse, making it the defacto venue for communication. The thing is, their "Debunking" has to have the lowest IQ for research that is even possible. My IQ puts me in the 99.986% for brain performance - given a set of tasks; and when I look at their "Debunking" they are almost always incorrect. Even when they don't mention that something has been debunked, there is much dishonesty, to the point of painting an incorrect depiction of reality that results in new classifications that are based on a reality that does not exist. Historically, these kind of "debunking" always occur when a group of selfish individuals try to smother a culture, so as to suppress it. So the question is: who is trying to suppress your culture? History is the memory of a community and this becomes the culture. But if you have people attempting to rewrite and censor history, and to incorrectly depict your current reality - then the culture becomes a derivative of an inaccurate depiction. That is called: deception. And my personal opinion is that selfish individuals try to camouflage themselves by changing the environment, instead of changing themselves.

I've removed all of them except Parler. I've also canceled Amazon Prime, (that one hurt I can't lie. We usually spent about $10,000+ a year with them) Netflix, Disney, and will keep adding to the list as they come out. @@leighannkst93 I do too. Believe it or not, I was living in Boston the year that a new weirdly named platform called "Facebook" was first reported on in the local Boston news. It was first advertised as a "Harvard-based My Space." Who could have thought that just a few years later it, and another upstart computer "start-up," Google, and later KZread, would practically carve up the world wide web among themselves.

Was doing much of my (marathon training) running miles around the Beautiful Charles River, Museum of science multiple x 4 mile loop, the bridge on Mass Ave, The Harvard Bridge.. Was training then for Cape marathon Falmouth, Oct 2018-19.. Ran B M 8 times so far (past years) hope return April Patriots day marathon (since 1897) once everything is back on track and in gear..

Facebook use CNN fact checkers now. They recenly found a post I made a year ago on blood plasma therapy, and said the same thing " Facebook doesn't allow talk against vaccines, or anything that was debunked" Mine had nothing todo with vaccines because it was before vaccines came out, but I did say that CNN had falsely reported about Blood plasma therapy, and this is what they didn't like, and seem to be removing negative post about CNN and not about the Vaccine.

Facebook, rightly, does not want to make itself liable for the foolishness people post on their platform. No one has the right to make Facebook accept liability for their irresponsible and potentially harmful beliefs. They are a private company and have every right to protect themselves against such liability.

You are the product, not facefook and it's customers are big tech, advertisers and other organisations that buy information on people. They have to curtail and clip on Facebook because the potential for game-changing presentation is too great. A certain thing could be posted and all hell would break loose. They want you to post fluff that has nothing to do with the things we need to watch and the things we need to change....just imagine if someone had inside info on 9-11, or Election Fraud, or Covid'-19 corruption...THAT could turn the country upside-down in 2 days.....so they limit the kind of messages you can put in there.
